USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Lana372 pages

...50 pages back and lucky I found it at all.

Well, then, I suppose we shall have to use a shuttle to get down there and get the Commissar.

Plus, which was sort of my idea I was getting at earlier what with asking if Travis had a pilot skill - would be an opportunity to get Rylis and Arvus back on planet.

It;s been referenced more recently, I think.

But... so what? Again, open the doors, and a bunch of Osokans get on.

Can we send reinforcements to them from the main force using the ships?

No, that's really not feasible...

Could we take two shuttles? One for covering fire, the other for picking up the Commissar?

Shuttles don't cover very well.

And Osokans are not soft targets.

Most talk was of the TIEs, No other ships.

And a good point has been raised. Imperial Shuttles carry Laser cannon designed to try to scare off marauding Fighters and Pirates. I'm sure they would be more than enough to deter a giant pig from entering the Craft.

Deviator is above the City. I'm sure if a message could be gotten to Trebeis, he would be suitably experienced and capable of scrambling a force into Shuttles, and to the Commissar's aid.

In fact, doesn't Trebeis still have shuttles full of Troopers out and about for the Blockade searches?

So flight is pretty much eliminated. First things first Melkor you should probably get out of that building. Secondly if the Duchess is still there maybe she would be willing to lend a hand you guys exchanged comm information right.

Can I contact the Duchess, Ush? I don`t remember exchanging comms, though...

As I pointed out, the guns are fixed forwards; useless to deter boarders. They only work if making swoops towards the ground. And a shuttle is not a combat strafing vessel. They are ineffectual weapons when you woukd need an effectual one.

You do have ground assault craft- TIE Bombers- but owing to the bravado of Imperial personnel, they have been withdrawn from your use. Besides, they take ground assault seriously and would be just as likely to blow up the Commissar.

What force? What men? And the blockade troopers are all committed on the blockade. To recall them all and try and get them down could take... twenty minutes? More? It'll all be over by then.

So to summarize, I can get no help in time? And no way to contact Galahad or Sasha as well, if this could help for some reason?

You certainly can't contact the Rebels, no.

Besides! You're the worst type of war criminal to them. They are as likely to shoot you, and some might do it out of hand before you negotiate.

War criminal? I am just following orders...... Yes, Esgabath may very well kill himself rather than be taken hostage by terrorists.

Though in case of Duchess, Commisar`s impression was that she is naive, manipulated girl, not some kind of Rebel mastermind.....

Her personality is not foremost on your mind right now.

Yes, Commisar is pretty pissed off, cursing this stupid planet, Osokan idiots, Rebel traitors, and unreliable Senators. He will return some fire, but primary objective is to get out of this building.

Can Travis help me with getting out of here? As I said, I just can`t die here! I don`t deserve such an end...

Ush, those several hundred Stormtroopers in the city cannot get here in time to provide cover for my escape? More likely that they will be attacked as well as other Osokans notice the fighting....

If they have any kind of fast-moving vehicles here, we could try to steal one....

What about our personal weapons that we have?

Do you remember the effect of guns on Osokans?

I'll remind you; it's not great.

Those several hundred stormtroopers are without orientation or co-ordination. Useless.

No vehicles, no-one any good at driving them either.

So no other ideas not involving the deaths of Commisar and Lyle? Maybe Travis has an idea?

I assume that Vortigen wouldn`t be much interested in becoming the next Guildmaster at this point..... And there is no way to take him hostage.....

They are not reasonable or rational people.

Travis is very short-term focussed.

Well, so the short-term goal is to get out of this building? We haven`t seen any rooms or chambers that could provide us a good defensive position inside? And no way we can defend from the entire Lodge for longer than few minutes....

What about heavy weapons, Ush?
