USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Lord Melkor372 pages

I am not holding Coll, I just told him that he is screwed in case of failure, since nobody will defend him now..... Acting in character here, Commisar doesn`t want to win nice guy rewards.

Though the charge at Guild Hall will happen in the later stage of battle, right? And it depends of Lyle and co, Jaiden. I believe that they should be able to land with the army. They can also communicate with you from Taskforce- no problem here.

Actually, it is Agent Lyle who is empowered to act with my authority here, and he can request help from Army. Commisar put him in charge of sneak team at the beginning, and nothing has changed, only the fact that Commisar has a good opinion of Lyle, who found the evidence for egg smuggling, not to mention helping saving his life, and now Lyle has the full backing of Commisariat for his operations. Commisar didn`t even picked at him when he said that he would prefer to not do anything regarding Drakkon, only expressing his disappoinment towards Rylis and Arvus.

The question is do we really need them with the army at the time? They should be doing what their best at, assasinating, sneaking in, and things like that. Really, the tide of the battle won't change if a few agents join the taskforce, but the tide can change greatly if we capture Drakkon as soon as possible. However, i'm thinking of striking the Guild Hall as fast as possible so the Osokans would really have no-one to rally them up once we kill all the Osokan captains and capture Drakkon.

We need to actually get into the city in order to capture Drakkon, though. And one of the easiest ways to do that without being spotted would be to go in with Coll's troops, hence us putting that up as an option.

But doesn't that mean that your whole plan on getting into the Guild Hall unseen by using a ship gets screwed up? If you go with the army you will have to assault the Guild Hall through it's front gates with my troopers.

What plan of getting into the Guild Hall unseen by using a ship?

That would only have been possible if we still had the strike team and were able to go in the shuttles. We don't have the strike team anymore, though, and Atar wasn't going to let us on the shuttles anyway.

So no, there hasn't even been any plan like that in effect for quite some time.

I would ideally like for us to take one of our ships and land on top of the Hall in it, but anti-aircraft defenses and the fact that none of our ships are atmospheric would make that very troublesome.

Though it may be possible to land after the shield is off, and coordinate with Jaiden`s men then.

We could pester Vader for a shuttle. It's not like he'll miss it.

And we can always try to skirt the battle, sneak amongst houses while the Osokan forces focus on the stormies.

Hah, you can pester Vader if you want too 😛

And that could work, though we'd have to be careful; remember, Osokans track by scent. If any got on our tail we'd have a hard time shaking them off.

Anyways I've been thinking about the whole attack. It seems to me that it would be best to have the Stormtroopers maintain in a group and have Heavy Troopers equipped with portable rockets target the Air-defenses on our path to the guild hall.

Maybe allowing Vader to use his air-craft to help with sweeps ahead of us.

Actually, asking Vader for his battle plans would be suitable, though I am not sure it is Commisar`s job.

And I thinkl Atar will give you at least one shuttle if Lyle or I ask.

If we get any on us, I say we just lead them to the stormtroopers and try again...

We'd appreciate it if you asked.

Ush, is this apropariate if Commisar asks Vader for battle plans instead of Coll? Actually the fact that Lyle`s group has beem ordered by me to go after Drakkon gives me an excuse.

I meant about the shuttle, not about Vader. No idea what Vader's doing...

Okay, Ush I will tell Arvus to give Lyle`s group a shuttle if he makes trouble. We should have at least one left in proper condition, or they can even take mine.

Lyle can actually coordinate with military instead of going into direct action, if he doesn`t want to risk his life.

Er, you're telling me to give Lyle a shuttle? I don't have one to give. 😛

Sorry, I meant Atar. Perhaps it was a prophecy and Arvus will be general one day.

Oh, not a chance in hell. Arvus works alone unless stuck with someone who actually knows what they're doing. Lyle and Rylis happen to be those someones, of course...

Plus, Arvus hates organized government. He just likes the Empire more because they pay him...

I don't know if us three would be able to overpower Drakkon and whoever's with him, anyway. We'd need some significant stormtrooper support, and that sort of eliminates the sneaky approach.

A shuttle can be provided.

But the central area is well defended, anti-air-wise. It;s the only part of the city well covered, but militarily you would normally secure the area first, or at least disrupt it.

Melkor-0 nothing slower than using the Senate! Especially as that is Galahad's home ground

Fact of the matter is this- now he is in an area outside of Imperial control, contacting him unless he wishes to talk is more or less impossible.

Well, I thought I have an excuse to request his communication channels now... so I cannot contact his ship as well, and cannot contact the Duchess?

There are no problems with issuing an arrest warrant for Drakkon? If nothing else, his reactions to attempt to assasinate me-raising the shield and refusing to communicate with Empire- were acts of open rebellion.
