USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

My question?

And Atar agrees with Nidar? I agree with them that it is Coll`s fault.

Atar agrees that it is easy to try and score points with Vader at the expense of reality.

And Nidar says no chances should be taken- both squadrons recalled.

I could ask out of amusement what my Aide thinks, but I know she would agree with them.

"I have to agree that in this situation Star Destroyers are priority over Coll`s precious artillery, and even over AT-AT`s. But can you order Squadron Leader to pursue any ship that flees the battle to the planet? It may prevent them from attacking our ground force with any of those ships, if they are planning it. In case they have more ships than those 3 we are defenseless though."

"If any of our fighters go down the Rebels will just break off and threaten our Desroyers again. Or concentrate fire on the ships that go down. We cannot split our forces; that has already played into their hands once."

And indeed, your squadron in orbit is now lost.

"It was Squadron Leader`s decision to split forces, though you have a point. Do what is necessary, Commodore." -Commisar sighs, having a bad feeling that they are still playing right into the Rebel hands.

"You see no option to protect both Star Destroyers and Army?"

Ulrand will grudgingly comply with the order and return to space.

Ush, we don't have any home-seeking weapons to shoot fighters from the ground in case they try to attack our artillery once we're defensless? The Rebels won't just attack an SD knowing that we got 3 squadrons of Tie Fighters with us, i'm sure their making a diversion of the Tie Fighters or something.

Coll will not resist the taking away of his air cover, not wanting to have more blame pushed on him by the damned Navy and the Commissar.

"I want the AT-ATs to escort the artillery," Coll says to his Army.

As I noted before, the AT-ATs will not provide protection.

And Jaiden? Nope, nothing like that.

-

"Absolutely none," says Nidar.

I see, well, Jaiden will come out of the AT-AT and will be marching with his stormtroopers near the Artillery, so he could quickly react during an emergency and maybe save casualties if the Rebels target the artillery.

"Okay, than give the orders as necessary, Commodore.

And inform Vader of the situation. Perhaps he will decide to help if Rebels make a last moment assault on the Army as well."

Coll- perhaps you should spread artillery?

Ok, orders have been so givien; the TIEs are moving up.

So, what are Arvus and Rylis doing, for sure? I just want to point out, btw, that landing IN the jungle means... well... landng IN the jungle. There's no getting away from that. You are either in it or not in it.

And Vader has been sent a message that ground forces are vulnerable against air assault again for the next half an hour? You know, the fact that he commands almost all of our Tie-Fighters makes him kind of responsible as well....

Ok then I assume we are close enough.

Janthis will get out as well and march with his men the rest of the way.

(And just a thought guys maybe Rylis and Arvus should just stay in the air and hover around our forces for a bit. It could discourage any attack on us. I mean because not everyone knows you guys suck as pilots 😛)

No it doesn't.

He left enough TIEs behind to defend yourselves.

The message to him has got a reply- as soon as possible, he wants to know two things

1. Why, when told to do as he wished, Ulrand appeared to wish to leave the Star Destroyers vulnerable

2. Why you are all incapable of bringing this measly number of ships down

He doesn't care about the vulnerability of ground forces. he has an assurance from General Coll that the assault will be easy, so clearly there is no great problem.

For the time being, until everything blows over, Arvus and Rylis intend to land in the jungle, lock up the ships, and wait.

Then, once there's no Rebel ships zipping around and the Army's reached the City and passed the shield, we'll move the ships out of the jungle and then join the Army in assaulting the walls.

What about what I said. Just have you guys hover around the forces in a circle. Maybe act as an intimidation factor for anyone who may attack.

I think what I am getting at, Arvus, is that people don't tend to enter the Jungle and come back.

I will reply that I and Commodore are sure that Rebel ships will soon be dealt with by our Navy. Actually, wouldn`t it be a good argument that we lured the Rebels into the trap and now we can capture or destroy them in space?

And we should tell him that General Coll wanted the aircover, as he was nervous for the safety of artillery. Atar and Nidar won`t deny it?

"Commodore, with those two squadrons we cannot lose? Lord Vader must see our victory."

"More likely the Rebels won't attack," says Nidar. "They have what they want."
