Was this a response to Esgabeth, or is it addressed to Ulrand?

(I think Ulrand heard mysterious voices 😗)

Ush, if Rebels still manage to target the artillery, wouldn`t it make Esgabath look a bit like an idiot? Still, it was the job of Navy and Army to think about aircover- I am a poor political officer without Warfare skill!

Okay, concerning the first Vader`s question we can respond that Coll was afraid of his army being targetted after Rebel ships were spotted. And no one expected that Rebels are mad enough to target Star Destroyers. Captains should have forseen such possibility.

Second question -Well, those Rebel pilots apparently have INCREDIBLE skills. Our Tie-Fighters are no match for them unless in great numbers. Our Captains and Squadron Leader didn`t mention how dangerous they are to Commisar.

Really Melkor, you shouldn't be worrying about the causes of you getting blamed. You should be worrying about how to keep our artillery safe. If this invasion fails it will make ALL of us look like idiots.

Jaiden will squint to try to see past the jungle when he sees the end of the forest, just to see if theres anything suspicious.

Vader is expecting to hear from Ulrand for the first. Is the tactic to blame it all on Coll then?

Yes, always the good tactic this one..... I cannot blame the lack of precautions against Rebel Ships on Commodore as well? Though this is only if Vader inquires too much. I don`t want to alienate Nidar without a good reason.

And Jaiden, I am trying, this entire mess happened because I was worried about artiilery!

Ush, the AT-AT will be one of the first to reach ther shield? If they lower the shield for Rebel ships to enter, cannot they fire as well?

Losing a Star Destroyer is going to be a much bigger deal than losing some artillery.

As for us landing, I had intended for us to not leave our ships while landed in the jungle. And at any rate, if there's anyone here who can deal with the jungle, it's us, considering that Rylis and Lyle are the most combat-capable if I remember correctly.

Blaming Nidar is difficult; he was the one who ordered them back up. He had no interest in sending the patrolling TIEs down.

And they'd achieve nothing in that brief period of time, Melkor.

How about we put the Tie Squadrons near the Star Destroyer, and leave Ulrand near the artillery? And I like Janthis's idea of you guys hovering around near the artillery. The rebels don't know that you suck as pilots, and if they see your irregular and non-Tie FIghter ships, they may think you are some Bounty Hunters with incredible pilot skill.

We don't suck as pilots, we're just not that great 😛

Though I kind of like that idea, for one reason, mainly...they'll have to lower the shield to let the Rebels back into the city. If Rylis could possibly fire off a couple of her torpedoes while the shield is down...

I think they will have a much harder time attacking the artillery if we stay in the jungle.

Exactly circle the army with your ships. 😛

And then what, Jaiden? Coll has to ask Vader for aircover..... I don`t think either of them is in good mood right now.

Oh dear, time to point fingers...

Coll requested the air cover, but the choice was left entirely up to Ulrand, as the Commissar plainly stated.

I don't think Janthis can really get you out of this one Coll.

Like I said it may just be best to call Vader while having Arvus and Rylis circle around.

Okay, so I'm kinda liking the idea of having Arvus and Rylis stay with the artillery for now. Not only would that help put off any attempts on attacking the artillery (and the Rebel ships would have a penalty for atmospheric flying as well as us, plus we could easily land if needed), but the shield will have to be lowered for the Rebel ships to get back into the city. Rylis's ship has torpedoes. While the shield was down, I could fire off a couple of torpedoes, hopefully either destroying the gate, or at the least heavily damaging it. Or hell, try for the shield generator as well.

What do you think of that, Zink?

I think they'll shoot you down first so it's pretty irrelevant.

Too much prevarication. I need an answer from Rylis and Arvus about where they are by the end of the day. This kind of time wasting is why the game is overrunning so much; the Rebels are waiting on you.

But if Arvus and Rylis are being shoot down it may buy us time.....

Though I would prefer you to look for Drakkon rather than being shot down. Alternatively, if you are captured you can always investigate those rumors that Osokans are feeding people to raptors, that my Aide has heard..... 😗

Rylis, maybe if you were a better pilot I'd say 'Go for it, woohoo!' but as it is, the Rebel ships are likely just to come down and go 'BOOM!' and vaporize you...

Arvus will plant his ship in the jungle.

It's really just a matter of player character mentality here. Regardless of the logic or sense behind it, they'll gun for you just because you are enemy players and they have clear superiority.

In which respect Melkor is absolutely right- a good distraction.

So cannnot you just capture their attention and run? They have very limited time left.
