USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Ushgarak372 pages

A single patrol has arrived- three TIEs.

...yep, I'm staying in the Jungle...

But Vader knows that those three ships have eradicated entire squadron without great difficulty?

Ulrand you just received a communication from Vader.

Break off your defence of the task force. Descend and engage the Rebels immediately

Arvus, Rylis, in this situation you can leave the jungle, since Rebels will most likely flee now, and you can quicken this decision. I don`t want raptors to eat you.

"Yes, my lord."

And with that, Ulrand's squads in space (sounds like a cheap sci-fi film) will enter the atmosphere, going down to engage the rebels.

Oh, and I know this is belated, but, in response to that whole "why did he appear to wish to leave the SD's undefended," Ulrand will reply with something along the lines of "I believed that the army could use with some air cover, and, as I did not expect the Rebels to attack, I thought only one squadron was all that was necessary for the defense of the Task Force.

Ah, you are saying you didn;t expect the Rebels. Fair enough, I am sure he will take note of that.

To be frank, nobody expected Rebels to attack Star Destroyers.

He did.

Mind you, Vader is cheating, which is why he's pulled the fighters off them now.

Cheating? Do you mean using the Force?

Yup.

He no longer senses any danger to the SDs.

Well, it's good to have a Sith Lord on your side 😉

So you mean he used the force to check if the rebels would try to do anything with the Star Destroyer? Fair enough, I think with the patrol, Ulrand, and his squads we could fight off the rebels. I hope we do in time thought.

When making a bomb run, the rebel fighters are vulnerabnel to other ship fire, right? Or something about "Dogfight vulnerable"?

He's probably running more on instinct right now than a pre-meditated piece of concentration, which is more his Master's style. He thinks now is the right time to go for it.

I think you have that a little backwards with the invulnerability...

I meant if Ship 1 is targetting a bomb run, and Ship 2 starts attacking Ship 1, then does Ship 2 cause more damage to Ship 1, or maybe Ship 2 has a better chance of hitting Ship 1?

Edit: Sorry, I got my mistake. I'm an idiot.

No, as long as you admit making a mistake you aren`t. 😉

Coll is a bit irked that Vader is only sending three fighters, but then hears the channel to Ulrand and smiles greedily.

"They're going to be blown out of the sky..."

Okay, that looks better.

"I'm going up," Arvus alerts Rylis. "I don't want to miss this. Should be fun."

Arvus powers up his ship and leaves the jungle, heading for the conflict between the Rebels and the ground forces. He intends to get there with Ulrand's squadrons.

Arvus, there is a metallic wrenching sound, and your ship does not leave the ground.

Roflmao. I just knew that something like that would happen to you guys, Ush made too many comments to kind of persuade you not to land.

Gee, thanks...

Arvus snarls a "What the..." and tries to see what the sensors say about the ship's inability to take off.
