USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Trickster372 pages

Is there a specifically Imperial channel on the comms? If so, Lyle would like to attempt to do that, as the rebels won't know what's going on if he does it.

I assume nobody will notice him doing it, as he's hidden.

Indeedy.

Comms are secure by default but a good fix-it roll can intercept any frequency. They'd have to be trying it in advance though.

Well, I'll do that. Can I contact Coll or Jaiden?

Sure thing!

Okay... Um, I'd like to relay the situation to Coll if I can get him, tell him to send some of those troopers to where we are - fifty would be ideal. Their first objective should be to capture a rebel, though it would be good if we could take some of these crates, in case they try and destroy them.

Also, enforcing an orbital quarantine would be good.

I really hope it's weapons in these crates. If not, we could get in trouble if we don't get a rebel. What sort of proof would be required for a blockade - if the rebels fire on Imperial troops is that enough, even if we don't get one?

Coll will relay that to Jaiden, with a preferably affirmative response on his own behalf.

Again, there is very loose use of the word 'Rebel' here.

Define 'Rebel'.

Furthermore, even if it IS weapons, define a reason for that to be illegal? And the justification for a seizure? Not to mention that this would provoke a fight; Osokans are guarding that place.

You have to think these things through.

Narrik thinks hard. "well perhaps the only way to effectively stengthen The Blockade would be as to set up air support, We send one of my squadrons around to The Blockade in where they may cover fire, and perhaps even send in some more ground forces droppe doff by my air support." he said thinking. "But of course Ground support is out of my Juritiction Commadore." he said thinking again.

Well, presumably some of the people with Rylis are wanted by the Empire - if not seizing the crates, the stormtroopers should be within their rights to arrest a known criminal? Or are they not?

And, if the Osokans are knowingly harbouring criminals...

What makes you think they are wanted by the Empire?

None of them are known criminals.

-

"Just one squadron on patrol?" asks Nidar of you, Narrik.

Would the stormtroopers be allowed to simply move to the dock?

I'd still like to get a look in those crates. If Lyle has any bright ideas...?

If Jaiden has the ability to lead his troops to the dock then I would do so, that is if the Osokan's aren't hostile to me. Just so the Osokan's won't have the nerve to attack Lyle.

Move to the Starport, yes.

Try and force entrance into the dock and it is a fight.

They can't bee keeping a close eye on those crates forever, Lyle. They'll finish unloading by the end of the hour.

Following his other meeting, Drakkon is ready to see you now, Melkor.

I shall see him, then.

Anything else I got from the agreement draft, espcially on this unfinished part?

Simply that that's the reason the Senate hasn't already wrapped up. Nothing has been signed yet about new elections.

Perhaps there are doubts whether the elections will be legitimate and peaceful?

You'd think Andran could have guaranteed the first, at least. Still, maybe worth some more examination.

You are admitted into Drakkon's 'Throne Room'. He stands there upon his seat of office- carved out of the carapace of some creature, asnd watches you intently as you approach. His Hunters stand to one side.

What title does he use? Should I call him Guildmaster?

Yup.

Commissar enters the Throne Room and bows respectfully:

"Greetings Guildmaster. Your throne is certainly impressive, may I ask if you killed the beast yourself? You must be a great warrior, like all Guildmasters, and surely skilled at handling the Neurowhip- which i heard is considered the greatest melee weapon in galaxy, at least now, that Jedi are no more." -Melkor smiles darkly.

"I am Commisar Melkor Esgabath, personal representative of His Majesty Emperor Palpatine, Leader of the Galactic Senate( he emphasizes the last three words). He is concerned with bringing peace to Lanzar, as he was the one that helped the Guilds to reclaim some of their former glory when the Hunting Lodges were reastablished, and your people were given a chance to hunt the ultimate targets"
