USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Lord Melkor372 pages

"I think you should be careful about who are you accusing of desperation and poor judgement. Palpatine prevailed against all that opposed him, including the once mighty Jedi Order, that even Osokans couldn`t defy.

But if you remain in your defiance, your people will suffer, and you will be remembered as the leader who brought disaster to Lanzar. There is no need for this, and Emperor would also prefer to avoid the mess. If you show that you comply with the Imperial Order, there will be no need for fighting. And why you are so ungrateful towards the person who allowed the Hunting Lodges to be reastablished?

You claim that you have such firm support of your people- so why other Lodge Masters fought against you? I see that Andran has agreed with you that new, free elections are necessary- but can we expect them to be free of violence? If there was an Imperial garrison to monitor it, it would all be a diffrent matter- if any Lodge Master started a rebellion, you could easily crush him with Imperial aid- making you an undisputed ruler of Lanzar."

"You claim that your Emperor is a man of the people, yet do not people fight against him? The Guilds existed still existed despite what he asked. He simply offered a new prey to hunt, because he feared to do the job himself.

"You come with firepower you say can destroy my world, and then say you speak of peace. Tell me... what do you offer me, if not death?"

Ask him? Let's just say he's not the amiable type.

Blocking the starport is like blockading the orbit.

"So it seems," says Drakkon. "Do you bring me some message or ultimatum from your Emperor? I assume you have come with business."

-

Janthis- your sweep is finsiehd, nothing odd.

But five men have failed to return.

Janthis wishes to know the last whereabouts of these men.

They were at the southeast border of the field, near part of the jungle.

Janthis will take himself and 20 other soldiers to investigate what happened.

OOC: Ush, If Imperial garrison would remain on the planet, and Drakkon got rid of those records about the Jedi, would Emperor find it an acceptable solution?

(Oh boy...have fun, Jamie...)

General Coll wears a smug grin, but does not speak.

^ Oh I will Rex oh I will

Jaiden would stay in the nearest room. (Since I don't think he has the permission to be with Coll and Melkor) He will contact his troops one more, asking the officer if everything is in order.

What records?
-

Everything is indeed in order, Jaiden, though you may be with the General and the Commissar if you wish.

-

At the borders of the jungle, Janthis, you find half a stormtrooper helmet. It appears to have been ripped in two.

This close to the jungle, there are a lot of noises around.

Janthis tells his men to stay tight in formation and he leads them slowly to the border of the jungle.

Consider yourself at the border. What's the plan?

The plan is to search the perimeter for any more signs of the troopers like the helmet maybe blood stains somewhere.
Janthis will go first with two troopers next beside him with the remaining right behind.

There is nothing at the perimiter at all. Do you mean to enter the jungle itself?

"I can offer you a chance to save yourself against the wrath of Emperor and his legions, Guildmaster Drakkon. He is a reasonable if stern man, and if you show sincere willingness to comply with the Imperial Order, I am sure that I can convince him that there is no need for war and violence that could make the Senate uneasy.

Together, you and I will bring true Order and Peace to Lanzar, Guildmaster. A sizeable garrison of Stormtroopers will stay here as peacekeeping force. They will observe that the agreement is fullfilled and shall not interfere unless peace is endangered, by rebellious Lodge Masters for example. They will do their best to ensure the safety and prosperity for your people.

I also suggest that the children from the most prominent families on Lanzar, including yours and those of Lodge Masters, will be selected to leave to Coruscant, and receive the proper education, I am sure they will be safer there than on this world. Being brought up at the center of galaxy could only benefit them and entire Lanzar- the next generation of your leaders will become a true part of the galaxy, with the understanding of galaxy politics and culture, including the new Imperial Order- and when they rerturn to Lanzar, they will bring the wider perspective- beyond your petty squambling, and Lanzar shall indeed become a real part of the galactic community."

(I strictly advise against that, Jamie...)

General Coll continues to listen.

( I know he will not accept those conditions, and there will be more anyway, like helping catch the rebels. I just want to show him that we are not that much bent on Lanzar`s destruction, confuse him and undermine all what Andran told Drakkon. And what do you mean by Jamie?)

I hope Lana and Zink are still reading this thread...

Just try and provoke them into a fight. Or at least 'escort' them from the starport.

Don't let them know there are stormtroopers outside. If Jaiden arrests them without being too obvious, we should be able to get them back to the fleet for interregation.

Ush - where are the ships the Commissar came down on? If they're in the starport, couldn't Jaiden take his men back into the starport to get to them?

Yes, of course they can, but I don't see how that helps anything.

-

"You speak of slavery," says Drakkon. "Slavery and hostages. Be very sure; we would die first. If that is all you have to offer, then my faith goes with your Senate. Make of that what you will."

Nothing well then Janthis will rule this as simply them being careless and getting killed by wild beasts. HE can see no signs of anything else.
He will return to the ship and give his brief message to General Atar
The message will say
"It is done"
