USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

"The Commissar intends to return to the surface tomorrow, my Lord," General Coll says to Vader. "A meeting with the Senators. Perhaps then Commander Jaiden can make a FAR better assessment?"

"To be approximate, there were six Osokans meeting us at the entrance of the Lodge. I did not spot any more Osokans in the Lodge. I personally think that Drakkon is sure that nobody would bring harm to them as long as the senators are there."

There were dozens of Osokans around, Jaiden. It was simply six who were tasked to disarm you at the central hall.

It would be better for you to make an accurate assessment, Commander. You will be in charge of taking the Guild Hall. I will expect success.

We're sitll kinda missing the point here...

-

What landing craft, Lyle?

"Actually, I would like to return to Lanzar immediately."- Commisar corrects Coil.

"Yes sir!" Jaiden sais to Vader.

The ones in the sky? If it's open air, and Coll and Esgabeth could see it, then coudn't everyone else?

Actually, I don't think any of us will be returning to Lanzar, except for blowing things up, at this moment.

Coll and Esgabeth saw it in orbit whilst flying back to the ships, Lyle.

We still haven't caught onto the important point here, like what the troops are actually doing and why Vader is certain there will be no legal complaint.

Can we just ask Vader that?

"Are we following the battle plan prepared by Commodore Nidar and Generals Coil and Atar, Lord Vader? And if I may ask, why the certainty that the legal complaints won`t hinder us?"

The battle plans are for the Generals to decide. And there will be no legal complaints.

"Because I will make sure of it?"

Because there are no grounds for one.

"What argument do you suggest we use as a basis of invasion? I have agents on Lanzar, investigating the presence of rebel agents, and some illegal weapon smuggling Drakkon is involved with. But still, Andran claims that his negotiations are sucessful, and he is an old stubborn fool. He will try to make matters difficult. Perhaps I should return immediately to Lanzar to speak with the other Senators."

Indeed, the AdvanceTeam could try to discover where those weapons come from.

Overcoming these problems is your mission, Commissar. In the meantime, I have authorised the commencement of training manoeuvres on Lanzar. As an Imperial world, it is subject to the emergency laws of the Empire, under which any planet may be used for training if it is far enough away from any settlement.

(breathing noise)

Should you and the Commodore feel that those troops may be better put to another use in future, I will cancel those manoeuvres.

"It was a great idea, Lord Vader. Those Osokans may be foolish enough to make a mistake and attack our soldiers. In those circumstances I will return to Lanzar." -Melkor smiles, but wonders why he didn`t come up with this idea.

Ush, I will indeed go back to Lanzar if Vader doesn`t object.

You didn't come up with the idea because the idea of holding training manoeuvres with an entire army on a populated planet is basically ludicrous; disrupt a planet like that and its Senator will raise merry hell.

But Lanzar is 90% wilderness. It's virtually feral. It's almost impossible to disrupt it, even with an army that size.

It's a neat loophole. You reckon the Empire might do well to do a lot of its work on planets like that.

But in the meantime... Vader wants to meet with you. Alone.

I will of course agree to it.

Melkor will invite Vader to his apartment on Victorious for the private conversation

"Excellent, Lord Vader."

Is this landing spot in equal distance to the spots that Coll had for his scenarios?
