USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Lord Melkor372 pages

"But he survived decades as a Senator, would he make such a big mistake now....." -Melkor stops, not willing to admit to weakness.

"But he has everything at stake in this affair, he may do something desparate if his plans fall. And there is always the possibility that he is involved with Rebel terrorists....... We may benefit by exploring this link."

There is no question of him being involved. Commissar. It goes far beyond that.

(breathing noise)

Vader stands, and his normally low and level voice takes on one of his sudden bursts of anger.

The privileges of the Senate do not extend to traitors. Senator Andran is a leading member of the Rebel Alliance and he must be eliminated!

Melkor smiles at the prospect of being able to arrest Andran.

"Indeed he wil punished for his crimes. My agents on Lanzar will try to find evidence against him, as will I."

(I thought he was refusing to sit? 😛 )

(Damn, I wanted to just pop him off with my dart gun...oh well...)

The Emperor holds you responsible for finding the evidence required, Commissar. There must be no error.

"I will not fail the Emperor, Lord Vader."

He expects nothing else.

You have noted the shift ffrom Vader when talking to you, Melkor. With others, he has threatened that they will have to deal with his wrath if things go wrong, but with you, he is referring it upwards. He's not actually issuing you orders.

He's all done, anyhow.

Well, but it is hardly a consolation for me as I remember the words: "Emperor is not as forgiving as I am." 🙄

Hmm, so the new job for Advance Team is finding evidence against Andran. It may be more difficult than assasinating him.

And I still think I should return to Lanzar as soon as possible. What can I achieve from here? Anyway, I will give the treaty for my Aide to carefully analyze.

Yeah, so I think it'll be better to succeed. 😛

"Seems this has all come to the point which we came for. Assasination, war, and death." Jaiden comments to General Coll.

Very true on the 'unforgiving Emperpr' part of things, Melkor, but in that respect you are at least in the same boat as Vader.

Ok, I shall see what everyone is planning before we move on.

I'm planning to carefully check the Lodge again.

"You wanted to speak with me?" General Coll asks of Atar.

"Vader has pretty much sunk the idea of an orbital attack," says Atar, "so it is down to us now. As was decided earlier, Lomax is in charge whilst the army is in camp, until the order to attack comes, at which point it is all yours."

How's the unloading going?

Zink, Lana... Make sure noone except the loaders gets in or out of this docking bay. We'll never catch up with them and this is the only lead we've got.

I wish we had a way to get into them without all this damn waiting. Lyle is wracking his brain for any ideas of how to do that... 😉

Lyle is maybe looking at this problem from the wrong perspective.

"Yes, of course. What will you be doing?" General Coll asks.

"Co-ordinating from up here. Did you have anything you wanted done?"

Ush, I will see how well Nidar is doing before returning to Lanzar.

I will make a Law check about the amount of authority Andran has over me and other Senators- I think he has to have something more than "I think you might be distrupting my mission" in order to block me from Lanzar.

"I want to be sure that all available space within the AT-ATs is occupied by the troops, to ensure minimal casualties by the wildlife in those jungles. Same for the STs and speeder bikes, and whatever transports we have available for the stormtroopers as they move through the jungle."

(How many walkers do we have again?)

We need to dig up confirmation as to who the rebels are on planet and that they ARE here. If we can find out who they are, and if they have any ties to Andran, then we'd have the evidence that Vader wants to justify getting rid of him.

So we need to find out what Kyle, Eerin, and Rhys were smuggling in and see if it's anything illegal, find out what those ships they're unloading have and where they came from, and do some investigation about Andran and try and find out if any of the other senators here might have rebel ties.

Hmmmmm.
