USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

I don't think ownership is a great matter, in this instance...

For future reference, I think we should probably buy a speeder for getting around this blasted city.

Might be a good idea. Going around by foot isn't going to work too well when we're trying to follow people.

I was going to suggest someone trying to hide on a skiff, but someone would notice that.

Vader walks in with an uncompfotable posture...
Vader: damn my ass itches!
Palpatine: patience my apprentice the time will come for you to sratch it, but remember i will kill you if you scratch it before the rebellion falls!

Do we have any idea which way the crates are heading?

Ves, very much so.

Is the implication that someone wants to steal a vehicle?

I wouldn't be against it. Arvus can do it, if Fix-It is what is needed to hotwire. If anyone complains about it, we return the vehicle and cite 'Imperial business' and that's that.

Fix-It is indeed needed, maybe Intrusion to break in.

I have a score of 12 in both skills.

Easy, then. These people don't have the most sophisticated security you ever saw.

That they had any security at all is laughable to Arvus. Arvus is going to be picky and choose the nicest speeder...

Rylis has the highest Pilot score of us- she can drive it. Arvus wants to monitor Butch's actions in the back seat. Lyle can ride shotgun and do whatever Imperial Agents do...

Sounds good to me.

Okay, since I have no idea where Esgabath is going with this, General Coll wishes to take some initiative. Since he's on planet, he wants to investigate the layout of the city on foot.

He wants to go to the wall closest to the landing site, or in that direction. If necessary, he will take some stormies with him.

Maybe it would be better as a trump card later on if Lyle isn't too closely associated with you guys? If I can get some information from the ships, it might be worth not having me in the speeder - plus we can always meet up later.

Ush, is the starport empty?

I agree. We need Lyle to be our secret weapon of sorts, I guess. 😛

Is the starport empty? Of course not! Is a major airport ever empty? This is a major city!

Ok, following the convoy in this manner will run the risk of being spotted, of course. I'll make the rolls if you are happy with that.

Good thinking, Coll. Well, the starport is in the middle of the cross-shaped city, so there is no one closest wall.

The walls are exceptionally high and thick, designed over a long periopd of time to keep the city safe from wildlife you can only assume has an almost military danger to it.

The walls are inside the shield. Hmm. In fact, the shield is close enough to the wall to make trying to storm it with the shield up very hazardous indeed. It's not 'hugging' the wall- it is not precise enough for that. You would say there is about fifty metres clearance, which might sound like a lot but is bugger all in battle. Troops at the wall would be cut off from all supporting fire from the army.

But of course, blowing the generator without storming the wall first would, by standard Imperial attack plans, be impossible. You can't just walk an AT-AT over this thing. Heck, even with the wall down, your heavy vehicles would be useless in the city.

I will wonder around the starport a bit, do the locals seem to be prepared for battle? Does it seem like they can be provoked by my presence?

So this translator knows about no Osokans of note I can reasonably get in touch with? Does Drakkon have authority to deny me the access to Guildmasters?

Oh, and I will ask the bartender about the political situation a bit before I leave. What does he think of Drakkon and the stability of his rule over Lanzar?

Sorry I wasn't here over the weekend. I was busy both studying for exams and visiting relatives.

So, I guess that if Lyle stays behind, then Karn'll be riding shotgun.

Osokans can hardly be called the people with the calmest temper. As to whether they are prepared to fight- well, they are all armed, but that's just normal.

Not gun armed though. In your experience, guns always provide the quickest draw- also the most loud and obvious one that would bring others into it. Whilst they are just carrying around knives and the occasional whip, you can't see them causing any trouble unless you start it.

It's Drakkon's world, he can technically do what he likes. There's not much of a future for a world's leader who buggers around with a Commissar but he probably feels he has nothing to lose. More to the point, you simply don't know where to look.

The bartender says that Drakkon is fair. His methods of running things are draconian but the Lodges are accepting them, due to circumstance. Certainly a whole lot better than Matadan.

I didn't mean is the entire port empty. In ANH each ship seems to have it's own dock in the port. That's true in the Coruscant scenes later on, too. Is the dock empty?
