USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Ushgarak372 pages

You mean the bay.

No, it's not. The ship labourers are still there.

I'm guessing there's other traffic on the streets...so would it be possible for us to follow a bit behind so that it'd be hard for them to pick us out of the crowd, but we'd still be able to keep an eye on where they're going fine?

Yes, but no matter what you do, if you want to be able to see them, they might be able to see you.

Could they track them on a parallel street using the droid?

Then the droid would be at risk of being spotted.

Would there be a legal reason for officially checking the transport Lyle`s group is tracking?

I will ask the bartender what happened with Matadan`s loyalists, and whether there is any particular opponent to Drakkon right now.

Oh, and any more details on the circumstances of Matadan`s fall? I will try to feed bartender`s ego, so he is as talkative as possible- it is rare occasion to lecture a high ranking Imperial official, isn`t it?

The bartender tells you that smart people don't talk much about anyone who opposed Drakkon. He's known to have a temper.

He smirks about Matadan. "Well, he was an idiot. He tried to tax hunting revenues. Hah!"

"Well, are there those foolish, or brave enough to speak about it?"

"Not smart to talk about anyone that foolish in general, really."

"I could show gratitude, of course.....

So you say that Drakkon rules by fear to large extent? I heard he is a great warrior himself, was he involved in the Jedi hunt? I heard not a large amount of those elite Hunters are left."

"Gratitude is not worth a severed head. And Drakkon didn't win that war with love, for sure."

"Well, I think you underestimate what my gratitude means, in a way I have not less power than Drakkon, though for the moment not here."

-Okay, I will make an Observation roll whether this bartender could be bribed or intimidated, if not........ I will ask if they have a district with a "bad" reputation in Lanzar City. I want to find an Osokan who is willing to tell me more.

(I think we can assume that Drakkon was in the Jedi hunts, and I'm sure Imperial Records has something on that if we don't get a straight answer...)

Close to the wall...hmm. Would it be practical to just put the heads of the AT-ATs through the shield for fire support? And would mortars and missile launchers go through the shield? And would AT-AT cannons manage to punch a hole in the wall? How thick is the wall?

You could always lie, Melkor. Come up with a lie for him. Otherwise, he's just going to think you're an idiot anarchist on a world that isn't your own.

Meanwhile, I'm sure the Rebels are expecting to be followed. I want Butch to keep as close as he can without being spotted, but I'm not all that worried about being seen. They already know we're here.

"Rylis, catch up to them," Arvus says from the back seat. "It's not a big deal if we're spotted." He turns on his comlink. "Butch, watch the convoy but keep out of sight. Don't want you getting spotted, we'll need you later I'm sure..."

So Ush what is going on with Janthis in the jungle

Sorry, newjak, what this is is a synchronisation deal. I want to have your exciting stuff going on at the same time as everyone else's, but the planning for the others players is taking longer than I thought. You;ll be back in the frame in the next couple of days, for sure.

-

Problem is not that he doesn;t recognise you have power, Melkor. Aisde form the fact that he just doesnlt seem that tempted to bother to get involved, he really is convinced about crossing Drakkon meaning death. As it stands, they fear him more than you.

-

Mortars and missile launchers would not go through the shield- the slight physical disruption would cause detonaton to the projectile.

You reckon AT-ATs COULD puncture the wall, yes- in fact, probably the only weapon you have that could do it in any reasonable time.

You don't want to keep your AT-ATs IN the forcefield. That has all sorts of strange effects on machinery. Throws your aim off too, though admittedly it is hard to miss a wall

-

Looks like rolls on the cargo situation will come later today.

Why no spend time in EU thread no more Ush?

Labourers, but no more guards?

In that case, Lyle descends from the wall to the outside of the bay, and walks right in. He does his best to look inconspicuous and walks over the ships.

Can he see if they're still open from his concealment?

But the AT-AT cannon could punch down the wall, yes? Because then I can reduce a section of the wall to rubble and allow a gap for the stormtroopers to enter through. Might be wise to have the other AT-ATs do the same, so that the Osokans don't focus on one gap in the wall. Many gaps instead...

Then, once inside the shield, the stormtroopers can set up mortars, and the AT-AT can provide some covering firepower for a few moments before pulling out of the shield.

Is there a gate to the city?

As I said, you don't want to keep your AT-ATs in the forcefield- anything might happen. So no, they can't down the wall with the shield up.

Yes there is- four, actually- but they will be the points of strongest defence
