USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Lord Melkor372 pages

Hmm, I am going for a Lying roll here.

Commisar smiles, obviouly enjoying the bartender`s ignorance:

"Well, I assume your hesitant aproach may be based on the wrong assumptions. What if I am looking for the enemies of Drakkon in order to aid him?

You see, Drakkon certainly seems to be powerful and capable leader, Matadan`s raise to power was likely a grave mistake. He was weak and corrupt, wasn`t it? Emperor supports only the strong, he has no respect for weakness and failure, and rightfully so.

The negotiations that started when the Senate mission arrived have brought us very close to reaching a lasting peace. While the Jedi are no more, new threats are emerging to the Imperial Order. Among them are dangerous terrorists that dare to call themselves "rebels"." -Commisar scowls disgustfully- "They are sneaky and good at escaping the Law and Justice. Emperor believes that Osokan hunters could be useful in hunting them, and if Drakkon gives him the aid of the Guilds, he may be willling to grant him amnesty and independent rule on Lanzar. After all, this planet itself is of no use to the Empire, isn`t it?"

Ush, we all still synching?

'Cos I'll not be on for two days, I think. I might get on again tonight, but Friday I have my first exam, so I won't be on Thursday (unless I totally lose concentration, and I'm hoping against that).

We are kinda, but I am waiting for plans to be fully finalised.

Something seems to be happening with the convoy, though. it is slowing down. Still unnoticed the prove droid reports that several Humans are leaving the convoy. You guys following are doing so easily- no one of any note seems to be looking out for you.

-

"All I know is that people who mention such things die," says the Bartender, flatly. "Nothing else really concerns me. Are you going to have a drink?"

-

Lyle, you are in the bay now, but walking aboard ship is awkward- there are people there.

I think we should send the droid after those who're leaving, to see where they're going and what they're up to.

People on the ship or in the hangar?

If they're in the hangar, Lyle will just walk as if he doesn't expect to be challenged. If they're aboard the ship, well, they're just labourers.

Yes, but why would they let you on their ship?

I thought they were native labourers. They couldn't have known the rebels before they appeared.

For a start, an Osokan labourer is pretty much of a muchness with an Osokan armed guard anyway.

Secondly, no none of them are native, they are the labourers from the ships, and they are a variety of aliens. I believe this was mentioned.

That seems like a good idea. We should still keep an eye on the convoy itself, though.

It was said that they were aliens, but not that they were from the ships. Anyway, Lyle will walk to the entance ramp. If no-one stops him by then, he'll just go aboard. If they do, he'll say
"Rhys needs some things double checked. They think they've got a trail."
Don't suppose I have a bad feeling about doing this?

(For some reason I can't help thinking this is a bad idea. 😉)

...

Sorry, Kyle, just to be clear here, whose ship do you think you are watching?

Lyle, and the rebels' ship...?

Probably put a hold on making any movement for now.

Ok, let's make sure we all know what we're at here.

These are not 'rebel' ships, these are the ships that bypassed the Star Destroyers earlier.

The ship belonging to the Rebel players is elsewhere, and you guys were kinda turfed out after the situation in the conversations thread.

Wait - they were thrown out of the starport, not us.

Everyone was turfed out! But you get to stay afterwards, it being your ship.

I'm so confused - you mean the ship they were talking outside of isn't the same ships we're talking about now?

'Cos Lyle hasn't gone anywhere, I'm pretty sure.

Yes indeed- that was a totally different area.

You haven't moved indeed, which is why you were not there. The others went elsewhere.

The Rebel ships haven't actually had any attention paid to them.

"So tell me, does your city have a district with some nefarious reputation?"- Commisar asks, seemingly unconcerned.

Lyle, are you going ahead with the discussed plan to break into the ship?

"It's all nefarious around here," says the bartender.

-

Plans are half-formed both sides of the lines, but I am moving things on this time tomorrow regardless.

I am, yep.
