USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Janthis- another volley of fire into the raptor brings it down mere inches from your face. It collapses in front of you.

There is now a considerable amount of screaming from behind.

---

Lyle, a 15 on your Intrusion roll is more than enough. Sneaking pas tthe lazy labourers, you heave yourself up into the ship via the fuel intake- the tubes are very large on these bulky freighters.

You are now inside the dark, dingy ship. It's a pretty big place.

Lyle is now on a stealth mode, which means he is out of contact with the rest of the team.

Which is a shame, because...

---

The probe droid reports that, after a certain amount of confusion, one human alone has left the convoy- and has quickly made her way back to the starport.

I will ask the quide if there are any information dealers among the Osokans he knows of.

"Yeah," he says, "but they all work for Drakkon."

Well then. Lyle will look for a connection to the main computer, and try and find some sort of information on who they belong to. Is it called a ship manifest?

Situation seems to be altering- more people are leaving the convoy and heading back to the starport.

"Curious..." Arvus mutters to himself. "Rylis, do you want to pursue those ditching the convoy ourselves or do you want me to send Butcher after them?"

Do I recognize those who are ditching?

"Send the droid; it'll be less noticable. They're up to something, but I think we should keep following the main convoy, someone might notice if we break off and follow those who are ditching." Rylis replies.

"Good call." Arvus comlinks to Butcher. "Butch, follow those who are leaving the convoy and heading back to the starport. I want to see what they're up to. Report back if the situation gets complicated."

"So there is no one with any degree of independence or personal interests? Don`t you have local criminals independent of goverment? Though I think I can deal with Drakkon`s lackeys as well."

Hmm, Ush, it seems that the sort of lies that I used on bartender won`t be very useful on other Osokans, right? Though no race is short of fools, or traitors, I am sure of it.

You can't see the ones ditching, because you are trying to keep out of sight.

Beyond that they are returning to the starport, there is not much else the droid can give you. Starport airspace is kept clear (obviously) and it would be exposed by sensors there, not that it can see through ceilings anyway.

It could move in closer but it would start to look very suspicious, hovering just above the city streets.

I guess no contact means I can't suggest things? Ah well. That sorta absolves me of responsibility for now. 😛

Are you talking to your guide there, Melkor, or the bartender?

The more significant thing is that you cannot react, Lyle, to things others discover.

Hmm...could Butch keep track of them until I get there? Being sneakier than my probe, I could probably track them better myself.

Ah okay. Well, I'm not. Still looking for a connection port thing.

Zink - I think you can probably guess where they'll be... And how will you get back to the starport when Rylis is following the convoy in your speeder?

And how are they getting back? I thought the convoy was all skiffs.

They got off the skiffs.

So they're on foot, which isn't hard to catch up to.

Could Arvus feasibly catch up to them by running or fast walk?

Yes.

Then Arvus will hop out of the slow-moving speeder and order Butcher to keep tracking the people leaving until he's there, then have Butcher pursue the convoy with Rylis.

I was speaking to the guide, of course. I finished with the bartender, he is either too scared to aid me, or Drakkon`s firm supporter.

Well, then the guide is not sure quite what you mean. He just buys and sells, anyway.
