Yes, but running a 100 yard dash in 9 seconds is an average of around 23mph at a constant rate over the whole period of the race. Sure Wolverine might be able to run 3X that amount in like EXTREMELY short bursts but he definitely cannot run 500mph in ANY kind of burst. By your logic, the best Wolverine could do in a short burst would be around 69mph... far short of 500mph.

Well, that is 68 mph. But in all fairness Wolverine can't even touch that kind of speed. Plus, didn't you say that he got to the guy with the gun before he even pulled the trigger and BEFORE the bullet came out of the barrel? That's where soleran got the 730 per second from, which is roughly 500mph.

I said he stabbed his claws into the barrel of a gun after the trigger was pulled but before the bullet left the trigger, he was already moving before the gun was fired and it would have more to do with how fast he could throw a punch then how fast he could run.
On Wolverine's running speed. He did out run a group of wild boars before and I believe they run at 50mph. He also kept up with herd of wild horses briefly as well.

Yeah I have no clue why I wrote 31kph... I must have got it confused with the boar speed I was looking up at the time. A Kilometer is around 1.6 miles correct?
