Space pirate (metroid) Vs Elite (Halo)

1. you said that the plasma sword was part of their standard equipment, proved you wrong the first time I said "blue elite".
2. your BS about engineers being the same thing as scientists, proved you wrong again.
3. your second BS about the elite having a radar, we proved you wrong yet again.
4. the elite being able to do a 25-40 ton punch, you havent even backed up that they even can do a 1 ton punch.
and so on...

Elites do have radar. The Arbiter has a radar and his armor system is far less advance then today's Elites.

You have seemingly NOT read the previous pages.

Plus you play as a normal Elite on multiplayer and they have radar. And you know they can only make the AI so smart in the games.

The arbiter is not an elite...he is the arbiter the only Sangheili who actually need one.

Good god, read the previous pages along h&m or steven or whatever his name is

You do know that an Elite is not a rank. An Elite is a race. Arbiter is an Elite. He was a Gold Ranking Elite but then became the Arbiter. You can't be stupid now.

just do as I told you

You mean the fact that you can sneak around and kill Elites from behind? Elites (when you do sneak up to them) are just walking around not expecting a fight. And again Bungie can only make the Elites so smart.

Then aswer this wiseguy, how come MC can walk up to a elites back and knock him out without being detected? The aswer is: cuz they dont have no ****ing radar.

You know you can't be stupid. The AI can only be so smart in the game.

a device or system consisting usually of a synchronized radio transmitter and receiver that emits radio waves and processes their reflections for display and is used especially for detecting and locating objects or surface features.

And if you were smart you would realize that the are not motion deactors. For walk over next to a sleeping grunt. You'll notice them on radar. Plus you can tell if something is lower/higher then you are.

therefor you can only back the fact with the actual gameplay, and I've runned towards them from behind still not being detected and knocking them all out.

They're motion sensors. My bad. I just checked on Halo 2. They are motion sensors. I was wrong I admit it. But Pirates don't know they have them now do they?

Space pirates probably have radars considering that they can show up any time SA enter certain rooms and repeatly at that.

probably? Can you prove that they do

I said probably

1) No proof that they can't have them...
2) you basing that on there names... Not there actual abilites.. They were called engineers by marines who know nothing... Hardly countered...
3) You proved nothing. Only that there might not have one. Even though the arb has one... who has old armour, So don't put good tech in new armour?? what a stupid statement....
4) MC can punch through a concrete wall... He has punched through metal walls... Can pull that bomb... I think he has more then 1 ton of strength.. Elites are just as strong... 25tons to 40 tons... thats a ruff range... Still you haven't proved anything about SP yet...

Perhaps you could provide something now...

So far...

Elites are stronger
Elites have motion detectors
SP and elites are equal in terms of guns
Close quater combat would be won by elites with swords, Closer without swords.
Tacticaly they are about the same.
Elites have regen shields, In a prolonged fight they have a significant advantage.

Alright boys it's open season on the elites. Before we start, I would politely like to request Shadow to refrain from posting bullshit, you're causing my IQ to drop. Anyway, let's begin shall we?

The blue elites are not allowed to use plasma swords. According to the codebook the use of the plasma sword by the lower orders of the elites or any other covenant is strictly forbidden.

Hit and Miss, most of the points that you made on page 16 about the Chief being able to survive space and fall from great heights into water is nothing new to Samus. She does things like that on a daily basis. The only difference is that Samus's suit allows her to function in space indefinitely, while the Chief can only last for about a half hour. And no, showing evidence is not an MP fans worst nightmare. I am siding with Samus and the pirates and have been able to give sufficient evidence showing their strengths. I also have explained several inconsistincies that occurred in the book including the remaining Spartans and Master Chief being unable to lift the bomb. Until you are able to explain those, I am not going to list anymore. Another thing, just because Icepunk used more posts doesn't mean that they were useless. He simply went against you point for point.

Shadow, you're basically saying that the game had to be made easier. Just looking at the legendary difficulty, I have to say that is the biggest bunch of bullshit I've ever heard. If the developers wanted to make the game harder, then they coul've actually given them some sort of AI instead of basic ducking and taking cover, but they decided to instead turn up the amount of damage that the elites were able to do. You can't simply pick and choose what points you want to implement from the game. It's either all or none. For example, awhile back (might've been on this thread) someone said that the Chief is strong enough to lift a tank because he is able to in game. If we follow that, then that basically means that the elites don't have motion detectors because they would be able to tell if the Chief was sneaking up behind them. It's either everything from the game or nothing from the game, not pick and choose.

You missing the point about MC surviving... We were talking about in game cinamatics... That MC doesn't really do anything in his... Satsujin thought that the cinamatics would be a good point for him to show off his abilities... But he doesn't even show his most basic of skills.. But he does show hes got strength...

MC didn't struggle with the bomb You didn't see him lift it as its not a practical thing to lift... He didn't say he couldn't do it, or that he was seriously struggling...

The other spartans is a minor point at best... Sure they could of said something about them But that might ruin the storyline... They could be on a mission that will explain the 3rd halos storyline, Or they could of died in the trip back...

Its not really a inconcistancy as it is a missing link... the books still do not go against the game, and the game doesn't go against the book...

Any other inconcistancies???
Could you plz post a link where it says they can't use the swords, or the page in the book...

While Shaddow might not be to your liking, Don't just pick on him, The metroid brothers here don't do anything to help the SP case when they multi-post(against the rules) and post rubbish... Not to mention the layer of Bias they put on everything...

No the AI can only be so smart on an Xbox game. Their are limits still. Use common sense.
