OMG!! I can't believe I read this. I was just looking for stuff besides what has to do with Tohru and the boys. It's easy to believe that Akito is a girl. I began thinking that the first few times it showed.

So let me get this, in the movies or whatever, they don't show all as in the manga?

And, what's with Rin and Shigure? I've only read up to the 9th and missed buying the 10th yesterday. So I'm definitely confused.
And Tohru chooses Kyo eh, so what happens after that? Yuki? The whole zodiac thing?

And truth be told, isn't it that they only change when they are 'hugged' by the opposite sex outside of the Zodiac? Well then they should be free to kiss and all that as long at they don't hug. Haha. That's got to be pretty tough.

I think it's cute though, because during the whole manga, from which I've read so far, you can see the complete change in Kyo. Maturity ((in the face also)) and height and the way he acts.

I kind of dislike reading something you can't have. I mean really, those semi-(or fully)obsessed with Kyo, don't you wish he was for real?
I do. Call me obsessive but I've always looked for a guy like that and the fact that he only exists in a manga upsets me.

And has anyone ever read Crescent Moon? Doesn't it seem like it picked a few stuff off of Furuba? With the whole hug and change thing?

...Hmm...

Oh and wait, in the Zodiac, isn't there a Ram? Who's that? I don't recall seeign him yet in the manga...

the ram is another name for the sheep, which is Hiro

and how could you people not figure out that akito was god? that one's a duh. there's all of the zodiac animals:
kyo - cat
yuki - rat (mouse)
shigure - dog
ayame - snake
hatori - dragon
hatsuharu - cow
momiji - rabbit
hiro - sheep (ram)
kisa - tiger
kagura - pig (boar)
ritsu - monkey
isuzu (rin) - horse
kureno - rooster

and then there's akito. the only reason he's considered the head of the family is because he plays the figure of god.

hey, does anyone know exactly how many volumes of furuba-rama (manga-wise) there are? tokyopop says there are going to be 16, but another site that i go to says there will be more than that. it's royally pissing me off.

oi, haru_kyo, if you've only read books 1-10, how on earth could you have found out that a) akito is a girl (thats supposedly in book 15) or b) kyo and tohru get together (even though thats a duh, its not in any of the books before 15) ??

I do think that Kyo really needed a girl, cuz he would probably be better off. >.> I have been looking everywhere for this kind of spoiler... ya I know its pretty bad lol. Are you sure Akito is a girl.In the episode when Tohru visited the family mansion and akito flipped out and grabbed her hair you could clearly see HIS chest and I can assure you there were no boobs unless shes the most flat-chested person in the world.

If u read the manga you can definatly see her boobs when she's undressed in the anime they mafde her a boy or just never said she was a girl

Yes in the anime Akito is more certainly a boy.

The manga and anime ran different courses. I bet the anime was getting done faster than the manga? So they didn't know that part...

It hasn't been dead that long! Just a little over a month....

Plus it just winds up being "KYO IS SOO HOTT!" and "YUKI IS ADORABLE" kinda stuff...

Wait, that might just occur on the "hottest anime/manga characters"

does anybody know what Tohru does when Yuki tells her he loves her? i've read books 1-10( 11 is pre-ordered) and watched the first two animes, but i really want to know what happens. am i the only one that likes yiku better than kyo?

He never says anything in the anime..neither of them do.

And I'm soo torn between Yuki and Kyo. Personally...I would want Yuki as a bf! Hehe....And I haven't read all the manga yet (Only on book 5)! But I'll get back to you when I do finish them up! I have up to 11!

Ummm......since this is for spoilers,i might aswell give some(though some of you may already know this):

About Kyo and his Juzu Beads.Kyo and all the other people that were the cat in the past had to wear them around their wrist to keep them human.The person who was born as the cat was not born human.If someone takes the beads off the cat spirit they'll become a "monster" thing.The only way that he could stay in human form without the beads is if someone helped them get over their fear(about turning into a "monster" stuff);in this case the person is Tohru.

The reason why Kyo is so determined to beat Yuki is because he made a deal with Akito;if he beats Yuki he'll be "accepted" into the zodiac.If he doesn't before he finishes high school then he'll be locked up.

(this ones a bit obvious though)Yuki is the "red hat boy".One day he was walking and stuff and he heard Koyoko(Tohru's mum) shouting out a description of Tohru(her mum was worried about her because she didn't come home that night because the day before that she got teased by the boys at school and she hid in a corner all night),and Yuki had seen her before that day and ran back to her,and walked her back to her mum.Tohru followed him and thought he wasn't there(sorry if i'm explaining this bad),but Yuki waited for her at every corner/stop until he led her back to her mum.Before she got to her mum Yuki placed the red hat on her head and disappeared.The hat was infact Kyo's.

Ohhhh, from the look on Kyos face in the manga i thought it was Kyo damn i wanted it to be kyo 🙁
