Posting on 18 forums or 1 forum is no difference. Quickly tapping the shift key doesn't take any time at all, it's the lamest excuse in the book.
If you know you've spelt something wrong and don't go back to correct it when you are able to, it's idiotic. It's an error, you know it's an error and you have the ability to change it. Not doing so is silly.

Capitalising letters takes seconds. End of story. It doesn't make you late and it doesn't effect you being in a hurry.
If it does and if you have to be late to important real life occurances just because you have to check your spelling and grammar on here, then that's far worse.

I think not capialising letters is truthfully from laziness. I know when I don't capitalise shit around here it's because I'm to lazy to do so at the moment.
The only way I could see the "I did it because I'm in a hurry" excuse flying is if you're already slow at typing, in which case, hitting the shift key while trying to find the letter you're looking for may be a legit nuisance to you.

Not capitalizing things properly is simply due to laziness, as is typing garbage like "wut r u up 2?"
FFS, it took me longer to type out that bastardized sentence that it would have for me to type it properly.
PVS rarely uses a capital letter though- because he's a lazy bastard- and I can usually read his posts fine (even with the weird formatting he does as well. In fact, sort it out mate. Beyond a joke).
Capitalisation isn't really that big of a deal (on here anyway) because it rarely adds or detracts meaning from a post. It's obviously more important in formal writing.
