There's still no excuse for stupidity. If someone uses abbreviations it doesn't particularly bother me any more, I'm so used to seeing 'txt tlk' used on forums that my brain automatically absorbs the relevant information anyway 🙄
It does, however, really irritate me when people change the spelling of a word or replace letters without actually abbreviating said word. Why? It takes just as long to type/write the words out so they can't be using the 'saving time' excuse. I just don't understand.
