Oh, dear...I hate it when I have to be explicit for some people to understand simple things.Your post was grammatically poor. This hindered the ability for you to communicate your message effectively. Do you understand now? Probably not...
What does "communicate our message using less" even mean?
Like I said before, I did not argue that communication does not suffer as a result of poor grammar. Like you have mistakenly concluded.
Notice that if you actually read my posts you will see that I state the following "I think that some rules can be important sometimes", for those not capable to decipher its meaning, it says that I think that rules are not always dispensable.
I would like to explain what "if we can communicate our message using less" means, but maybe it could be too much for you. Just in case, the word "less" refers to the rules.
It appears that too much appeal to the grammatical rules, and details, can be an effective way to avoid to current matter being discussed. An useful resource for those who do not have many arguments to support their view.

The implication of your first post is that you feel that 'less grammatical rules(sic)' would result in better communication. This is incorrect as I have demonstrated in relation to your initial and subsequent posts.

Correct grammar would demand the use a frame of reference when using a comparative adjective like 'less'. Remember that in future.

Incorrect again. This whole discussion began with your patently incorrect post. If you had adhered strictly to the rules of grammar, this whole discussion would have been unnecessary.
On a side note, here are some other things you could work on:
- Limit the use of identical conjunctions to one per sentence. ("but...but..." = bad)
- Check your punctuation usage.
- Check your spelling: "agaisnt", "specially".
- Generally, work on your overall grammar.
I firmly believe that if you attend to these inadequacies, you will improve your ability to communicate effectively, thus avoiding future reprimands based on your poor grammar.
Anyway, that's about all the free English lessons you're going to get from me. I'm generous, but I'm not a charity. You may PM if you wish to further your learning through private tutoring.

No, the duration is denoted from the flow of the sentence. duhr.

It's not being picky, it's actually really annoying. If I were picky, I'd call you out on capitalization, spelling, and grammar too.

I would suggest that you try not to be annoyed, because you cannot change Evil Dead. 😆

I agree, but I don't think he is going to change how he writes. 😄
Re: Re: Spelling, grammer and punctuation
Spelling, grammar and punctuation are a set of rules to facilitate communication. It's that simple. It's not a question of "being your own person" or "giving in" to convention. And while it is understandable that people do get playful online, or they want to sprout, through text, their pearls of wisdom as quickly as their lips can flap (and I too have been guilty of these things), what one has to say will surely be better appreciated if others can understand what's been written.
