Oh lol. Its just meant to be funny. It is during the beginning of the movie and Rock and Mr. Jackson are supercops who do all kinds of crazy shit and get away with it--think Die Hard, Cobra and any Arnold movie. Their ego reaches a point where they really think they can make the jump. Its loltastic lemme find the clip

Oh I see. No what I was talking about is a writer that can push the bounderies of a characters potential whilst having the character retain its overall integrity. A happy medium if you will. Philo took a snippet of my comments to do his little sniper thing.

As a fan I would much rather have a guy like Pak, who understands cosmic, knows the characters etc then what we're going to get when Loeb takes over. As a fan, characterization is very important to me, which DnA nailed, but they wrote him fairly conservatively in terms of power and fanboy moments. Pak I believe could strike a good balance. If recent history is any indication Loeb in all likelihood will take it over the top and turn him into a characature.

Well he wasn't expecting Ms Marvels kick that shoved him into the pavement and from there it went downhill no matter he would have tried.

Yeah, but Thing knows Peter well enough to understand who he is if compelled with a better argument than "I'm Spider-man", I mean, they have known each other for years and had so many adventures together that Peter could've come up with something.

Ben is short tempered and quick to act, yes, but Peter could've realized the issue after the first hit instead of swinging blindly at Ben.
