Maybe comics are like DnD with : Slashing, Piercing, Bludgeoning damage types? Simon/Carver/Ethan seem to have superior slashing/piercing damage.

I do agree certain characters have better piercing durability then others. Durability to piercing attacks is not intertangable with durability to blunt force and vice versa.

Healing factor (I've never seen this listed under his powers and I got every issue he appears in, even the "Skrulls!" encyclopedia) wouldn't clean the blood that would be on his clothing from having his chest slashed by Wolverine.

The artist had no problem showing the Absorbing Man in cocaine form dripping down the bloody nose of addicts who snorted him so it's not like he was squeamish with the blood depictions.

Reed, in his lab, couldn't break Ethan's skin to take a blood sample (this from the guy that has adamantium needles he used to take blood samples from the Hulk).

i remember that issue. this whole gladiator thing is almost unbelieveable to me. he can't damage colossus, yet he PIERCES gladiator, the guy who flies through stars? that must mean he could stab surfer? and if he would have stabbed glads in the head, or heart, would he have killed him?

sigh.... it's hard to recall the time in my life i really loved logan. curse you frank miller for getting my hopes for the character up. 🙁

oh, and guy, what's the deal? no scans of fear itself 7 yet??? i actually liked the issue and thought it ended pretty well. hopefully it leads to some cool stuff.
