With all respect to the son of Zeus, I thought him beating Atlas like that, especially while mortal, was ridiculous. Erik at that point should have been as strong as immortal Hercules, perhaps stronger, from what I remember of the Thunderbolts run (Although that might be before he got repowered/powered up, it's been years though) but whatever.

now who's hatin'?

yes, again, they beat him (and hyde as well) while he was nearly dead. are you denying that it was goliath who did the significant damage though?

As per what Hercules said and him going apeshit crazy once he saw the Crew in the dream and when he saw them in real life. Most definetly.

I'll play your game, where was it said Goliath alone nearly killed him?

blowup

where did i say it was goliath alone......? 😖hifty:

before he came in, was herc still up and fighting though? (i'll you'll say yes to that...)

AFTER goliath was done, was he still fighting? (i'll assume you'll say no to that....)

ergo, who did the SIGNIFICANT damage in the fight? who effectively ended the fight?

goliath.

the team beat him after he was effectively ko'd. maybe they woke him up some, maybe they tortured him and whatever. but the significant--battle ending damage--was done by goliath.

herc also went utter apesh!t when he saw goliath later.....

Ok then, show me where it was said before the Crew got to Hercules he was nearly dead them?

We saw in the scan I posted he was awake 😬 So not sure why the long rant as all what your debating has been shown and stated.

he was lying face down, not moving as the team advanced on him. 😐

he was also drugged, and had been brain damaged and it was a DREAM. the t-bolts scans says he was holding his own against 6 superstrong foes. until......

yep, you guessed it. goliath. AFTER goliath's beating he could no longer defend himself. are you saying that is NOT the significant part of that battle?

Yep you must be messing with me, as shown he was lifting his head up and was looking right at the Crew. So your statement he was ko'ed by Goliath is inaccurate.

Awesome, never debated the context. What I am debating you saying it wasn't the Crew that did the most damage when Hercules himself said they did 😬

Golaith clearly didn't do the most damage as Hercules HIMSELF said the Crew did, and was terrified of them and he lost his confidence because of THEM. That's actually stated and shown 😬

meh, i'm not even sure what we're 'debating'. the team beat him after goliath laid him out. that much seems crystal clear. you say the significant damage took place after that, i say that (becasue it irrevocably turned the battle) WAS the significant damage. again, my point--why the focus on the crew and not goliath or hyde? i don't know, nor did i mean for it to become such an issue so i'll simply drop it.

😐

that was what REALLY happened. no memory (which could easily have been clouded by the fact that he'd been drugged and suffered brain damage.)

if i showed that scan in any battle or debate, i really doubt anyone would have a problem calling that a ko.....

Awesome, never debated the context. What I am debating you saying it wasn't the Crew that did the most damage when Hercules himself said they did 😬

you keep saying that he said they did the MOST DAMAGE. he did NOT say that. he said he was helpless and beaten by them. again there's a difference.

who effectively ended that battle?

Golaith clearly didn't do the most damage as Hercules HIMSELF said the Crew did, and was terrified of them and he lost his confidence because of THEM. That's actually stated and shown 😬 [/B]

sigh... do you have a scan that shows herc saying "THEY DID THE MOST DAMAGE"? i mean where it says that--specifically? no? then my point about what WAS said stands..... 😬

Guys, please take this to a new or existing thread. I don't mind the actual debate going on, but it needs to not be in this thread, please.

What are you guys arguing about? It's all pretty straight forward.

Goliath took the fight out of him, and when he was helpless, the Wrecking Crew beat his ass until he was a bloody, broken and bruised mess. That experience -getting torn apart by the Wrecking Crew while helpless- is what traumatized him.

*facepalm* thought you didn't want to continue you this. I already the scans of him saying all that, and quoted what he said directly.

So apparently we cant take Hercules word for it and lets use some logic here. If it was knocked out already, how would he have known the Crew beat him?......not that hard to grasp. So his memory is valid.

Yep, that's what I have been saying.

The one where he smokes Flash and then break his fist punching Wonder Woman. Isn't that the only time he defeated them? I can only recall it happening once.

Yeah, for a lil bit. I came back to finish our debate.

That was in Batman Confidential:

Just remember that the JLA he fights is a very early one, when they'd only started working together as a team.
