Near that level. Namor having trouble with Luke Cage yet Cap puts a hurting on Warpath 😬. I love Cap as much as the next fanboy but that shit shouldn't have went down like that

Warpath was downgraded to class 25 or so.

Stuff like that is why Cap pisses me off. I like him and all but it annoys me when he blatantly makes others look bad.

Yea, Mjolnir > Phoenix Force. 😄

Jokes aside, that's a serious Mjolnir absorbsion feat. Thor wasn't even aware of it. I know that made you a very proud man. 😎

Saying far better is an understatement

Is it normal the way that Cap was pretty much unphased after getting blown up?

Yes of course i forgot about that 😬

Another thing that annoys me about Cap's jobber aura is that it actually makes him look worse in the eyes of many - in some forums no one even takes him seriously as a combatant because they claim all of his feats are PIS/jobbing

Cap's jobber aura absorbed the blast.

He hardly seemed phased by it so yes that was utter bs

Yep, this whole series has been turrrrible. The characterization is crap, the fight scenes make no sense, and the consistency with other books doesn't work. Very poor series

They don't even call Captain America peak human anymore but a super soldier as far as I can tell.

Mjolnir can definitely rock the Phoenix hard. Thor was injured in the first encounter but clearly not near death as "someone" suggested. It seems Thor takes on the Phoenix 3 times and in between those encounters fights a reborn Captain Mar-Vell and Noh-Varr. Pretty good overall.

Like I said earlier, the one thing Bendis has going for him is that he writes a badass Thor. I have no idea why he's so underwhelming in that other series.

Impressive stuff. And this is from the primary Avengers title, correct? It's really weird how Bendis can go from writing a decent or even good Thor one moment, then turns around and gives him atrocious dialogue and jobs him out.

Though, I gotta say, Simonson's art hearkens back to the best era of Thor ever, which is probably why I liked the scene so much.

I have also seen people try to legitimize all his feats no matter how ridiculous I think you have to find a balance but with him it's really hard to do.

He tooled Gambit in close combat, broke his bo staff like it was made of styrofoam and then causally sonned him all that after taking a charge explosion 😐

Well I'm talking about people who claim things like he has no chance of ever reacting to a bullet or taking on a class 10

Cap's jobber aura is no more extreme than the power of Batgod.

👆

Well you cant really do anything about that some people have a certain view of a character no matter what is presented to them it wont change.
