So now you all agree when I said cap has the biggest jobber aura in comics. 😎

But really the most refreshing moment of reality was caps first fight with iron man in civil war, where( as he rightfully and honestly should) he got dismantled with utter ease. I still love cap tho.

Nah until recently Batman has been going down to attacks that should put him down though current Batman has indeed been upgraded damage soakwise

To tank such an explosion to the chest and not have any serious physical damage (small cuts)? that's downright laughable.

The thing is they didn't even have it slow him down or show some effect I mean I would have even been happy if he had collapse afterwords.

I was hoping for something like that. Similar to how Thor collapsed after he pawned Nul.

Good win for Cap. I'm sure the theory is Gambit under-estimated Cap and did not charge the shirt to a high enough degree. I'm sure in a follow up fight Gmbit would correct that and a higher charged explosion would take out or t least stun him.

Not a bad showing for Gambit either. He caught Cap's shield and got in close enough to charge the costume.

I thought Warpath was stronger than class 25. He recently tossed a Sentinel that was bigger than the Xmansion. A class 25 can't do that.

By the way, this will be a long series...Colossonaut battles still consist of Thor and after that, Hulk. Did anyone get any feedback on how long this event is taking place?

That will be interesting.

Predictions?

He's suppose to be fighting Hulk from what I have read. I'm trying to find clips for you all. He is battling Thor as well IIRC.

Sucks to be the only heavy hitter in Xmen lol

Warpath stalemated by Daredevil, then beat by Cap... so much for Colossus (teenage) lv strength and nigh-invulnerability.

Carv ye think Thor and Hulk will beat him?

I can see Thor doing some BS with MJOLNIR and scoring the win.

Hulk, on the other hand, I see him hard pressed to beat Colossusnaut with just brute strength(unless he BFRs him like he did Cain) Then again Rulk already beat him so...perhaps he will beat Hulk? Or Thor and then finally Hulk? Meh you never know with marvel

Fought Demon Bear, embedded his fingers in the steel door and ripped it out...

He WAS class 90, but now class 25 and he lost the ability to fly.

He's 4/7 in the handbooks

He was flying in X-Force, he just doesn't like that power, thinks it's unmanly or something.

Who cares about handbooks, his durability is listed as 3, yet in comics it's said he's almost invulnerable. Cap had no business fighting that guy.

Cap has so many PIS feats in this event it's not even funny.

Oh I agree he shouldn't be fighting Cap, but he is no longer the class 90 powerhouse as he once was.

Meh! The same handbooks listed him as class 90 before.

But his fts say otherwise though. Him two piecing that Sentinel like that with a single punch was a very high showing...especially looking st the size of that Sentinel.

@Zack...my honest answer. I can see Thor beating Colossonaut due to his versatility. If he fights in character, he will lose but again, Thor versatility is amazing enough to pull a win.

As for Hulk, if I was writing it, even though Hulk is one of my faves, I wouldn't let him beat Colossonaut based on."implied power" alone. Colossonaut is suppose to turn back into that Doomsday looking thing again and its going to be against either Thor or Hulk and in that case, I would have either of them losing against him.
