While a lot of times we take this "pretend we are talking about real people with real, stable properties" approach to debating characters it gets pretty silly pretty quickly if you take it too far.
We didn't "discover how strong Superman really is" anymore than we will discover how strong Superman really is next month if he fails to stop a falling jumbo jet. They are fictional characters with different showings. This was a great showing. For many people it will be how they like to think Superman should be written. For others, not so much. It might become the norm over time but I dont think everyone has to retroactively assume that nu-Superman was always "really" this strong in his other appearances under other creators.

They can survive Black Holes, causally blow up planets as a side effect of an attack, go into suns, hurt cosmic entities that can wipe out galaxies, contain big bangs, traverse the universe in seconds.
This is an insanely impressive feat yes, but I could see a writer easily putting Hulk, to a lesser extent Thor, Captain Marvel, Black Adam in the same situation and have them pull it off, and I wouldn't be going OMG they are now the strongest Heralds ever!!!
That being said this isn't a place to argue over scans this is a character ownage thread, obviously Superman was doing some serious ownage in that scan. Talk about the ownage and move on to the next. If you want to debate the implications of that scan in a vs fight do it in a thread for it like Hulk vs Superman or Captain Marvel vs Superman or Thor vs Superman.

Wut? Name one high herald who's done those feats? I can't see any current high herald who can bench press a whole planet let alone do it for 5 days. Post crisis superman would be the closest to do that but he mentioned it twice as possibility and both were chalked up as hyperbole. BTW I'm not talking about its implications, I just wanted to know what you meant as "high heralds do this, this and that". Oh and low heralds survivd black holes casually, its no big deal.
