Makes sense, though. Being controversial gets you sales - look at the gay marriage storyline, for example.

There's a difference between being controversial and just being bad, though.

You can write a good controversial book, etc.

Brevoort has to be trolling. He can't honestly believe Black Panther is stronger than Surfer lol. Surfer's caught Thor's hammer strike, physically beat BRB, knocked around Hulk and his Warbound, physically beat down Skaar amped, etc. I can't see Black Panther replicating any of those.

T'Challa knocked down Mephisto on his ass with one punch 😎

Well, he is the editor so his word is law............😛

Being controversial and being of the opinion that the company should have horrible storylines published just to spite comic book fans(because he thinks that doing so gets the sales up) aren't exactly the same imo.

T'challa for trans.

Was that Sue?

LOL WTF @ Panther being stronger than Surfer.

Ultimate versions of Sue and Tony.

Oh dear God. Well I guess that indirectly answers the whole Odin vs Franklin stuff. If Franklin can't defeat Odin's enchantment, how would he defeat Odin himself?

Sigh........

^I wouldn't be surprised if Odin, in a rematch against the Celestials, ends up performing much better than he did last time. His stock has definitely gone up(back to its former glory) during Fraction's Mighty Thor run.

All that is speculation though, and that "gem" of mine goes to show that Brevoort's opinion can't be taken seriously. Especially as Franklin has overcome a skyfather's enchantment before.

Why do you continue to take stupid things said by Marvel staff as law?

I guess T'Challa can involve himself in a sun throwing battle because he is stronger than Surfer too?

Found it on CBR . And it only proves that these writers/editors on Formspring have a tendency to troll fans, and hence their responses on that board should be taken with a grain of salt .

They did ask whether or not you're the Butthurt Rapist-Supreme. While Butthurt you are, the latter you're not.
