So Heman took out a non holding back Superman while withstanding heat vision to the eyes.? He also tagged Flash.

They controlled by the spell of Skeletor, like mindcontrol. So they are not fighting to the best of their abilities.

Still it's good to see He-Man getting some good feats.

I expected this.
This is more a He-man and the Masters story.
JLA just happen to be there.
He tagged Flash, tanked HV to the eyeballs, and 'killed' Superman(until next issue, at least.)

I honestly did not expect that.

^ Nope. They each appeared on a single page, separately.

I'm gonna have to actually agree with Thor being ko'd or at least momentarily ko'd after their fight in issue #11. Deathtry was next seen back on their ship towards the end of this book.

Deathry was long gone by the time Thor opened the portal.

Remender had him do this awesome feat, but he really could have just made a humongous storm instead of porting in an ocean from some far off planet.
I guess for dramatic effect.

🙄

they are bloodlusted; they are shown at their peaks. He Man is just that much better.

Heh.
Check the DCU thread.
I called JL jobbing some days ago.
It was evident from the first issue.
Although I look forward to JL and Masters teaming up and taking on the He-man villains.

Meh, magic is such an easy tool for writers to job superman out.

I'm not reading this series, so remind me if its canon and when does it supposed to be happening?

It kinda has a canon feeling, and He-man has his own ongoing in DC.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's proven canon (since Constantine is also there).
And if that's the case I would be even less surprised if there's a sequel, relatively soon.
But for now nothing is certain.

Edit: In the first issue Black Alice is showing the Justice League to Skeletor in a screen.
She mentions that "Green Lantern split the group a while ago".
And then "That would be the other Justice League. Added America to it's title."
And "they are popping up everywhere, there's one full of mystics and mystic wannabes", meaning JLD obviously.

Damn... That's going into the vault...

Hmm, actually... I may just take a trip down to my LCS for this one. Being a He-Man fan and all...

I actually agree somewhat... That said, the sword of power going through Supes from tip to hilt like a hot knife thru butter is amazing, mind controlled or not...

Short answer: yes, it is canon. In this series the Eternia-verse is just another dimension/reality within DC's omniverse.

I believe it is *supposed* to take place fairly early in the New 52's history. My only proof of this is that Constantine has not yet discovered(or at least, does not actively use) the House of Mystery in this series.

To be fair, He-Man did say that Superman was "trying his best to slay me!" /shrug

Either way, I was most shocked at He-Man tanking HV to the eyeballs. That is just... Unreal.

Technically, wielded by someone of He-Man's strength, the Sword of Power should tear up pretty much anyone. That was probably the least surprising thing there; though they may also call it magic weakness eventually.

The HV tanking was probably the coolest. Mind-controlled or not, that's some sh*t right there.

That Superman vs He Man fight was good. That was undoubtedly the most powerful version of Superman ever shown. He also wasn't holding back, but He Man was initially. He Man insta killed Superman when he decided to stop holding back.

This is a very accurate portrayal

Don't try to bait. Not what this thread is about.

Hmm. It's unclear (to me at least) as to rather or not He-Man actually thrusted the sword tbh. It just looked like he stuck it out there, let Supes fly right into it and skewer himself, which says a lot about dat blade...

Yeah but, you know how that goes in these crossover type events.

Indeed... That's nails right there...

And also forgotten in this is how casually Skeletor just took the JLA over like toys lol...

The battle will conclude in Forever Evil #3. Not looking good for Adam right now, though.

Missing the second to last page:

Pretty funny how Adam is shocked there exists someone he can't rip limb from limb.

Quite a feat for Thor here:

Shrugging off the HV to the eyes was crazy!!!

Quite a feat for Thor here:

Thor focuses his mind's eye... Not merely on another world... But one in a galaxy far from the microscopic universe in which he is trapped...

That's so adorable! Thor saving the lives of the unfortunate alien race who are defenseless. The aliens on the planet that Sentry trapped Thor on look like they may be friendlies, so they can quite possibly assist thor in returning back to earth, but I am most likely over thinking this.
