Character Ownage

I love that He-Man finally has a modern feat that everyone can overreact to. I don't think this has ever happened in the internet age.

It kinda has a canon feeling, and He-man has his own ongoing in DC.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's proven canon (since Constantine is also there).
And if that's the case I would be even less surprised if there's a sequel, relatively soon.
But for now nothing is certain.

Edit: In the first issue Black Alice is showing the Justice League to Skeletor in a screen.
She mentions that "Green Lantern split the group a while ago".
And then "That would be the other Justice League. Added America to it's title."
And "they are popping up everywhere, there's one full of mystics and mystic wannabes", meaning JLD obviously.

Does this mean He-Manverse is apart of the DCnU?

Nice to know Supes still is affected by magic and that weakness isnt buried in the past and isn't viable like some tend to believe 🙂

Also non-holding back to top it off, lel

Is Superman even top 10 on dc earth? When was the last time he actually won a fight in the NU52?

Awesome He Man feat right there!

lol @ the typical "now I can stop holding back" bs with Superman just to put someone over.

It's like CM Punk coming out every week talking about how he's going to smash someone's face in even more, only to get the shit kicked out of him.

I can see the haters already wanking all over it prematurely.

Still, nice feat for He-Man; nice art too.

Pretty funny how Adam is shocked there exists someone he can't rip limb from limb.

OMFG, dude don't tease. What happened next?!

seems those scans ruffled some feathers

Its He-man. They have always had him being a match for superman

I know, I don't mind that. It's the anti-Superman brigade ready to hump this like it's the second coming, that's the problem.

Just like they did with Captain Atom in Injustice.

Yes. Like I said to abhi, the Eternia-verse is part of DC's greater omniverse-- it's the "center of all creation", in fact:

That's the thing, though: he was far more than just "a match" for Superman this time.

However, Superman is still weak to magic in the DCnU. This is important because Eternia and its inhabitants are more or less composed entirely of magic... So there's that. /shrug

That Superman vs He Man fight was good. That was undoubtedly the most powerful version of Superman ever shown. He also wasn't holding back, but He Man was initially. He Man insta killed Superman when he decided to stop holding back.

This is a very accurate portrayal

Always knew He-man had more durable retinas than Manchester Black, hah people always thought I was crazy.

@Rage: Any news on more Jarnbjorn induced Celestial-oneshots that featured in Uncanny as of late?

I wonder if Loki is lying or he actually doesn't have his powers back. Still, it's pretty clear that he possesses the energy do undo Mother's curse, which is pretty impressive.

Nope, only reference to the axe is in the first panel:

FYI...Superman is still alive. Looking at the previews, looks like he will be trapped in some type of alternate dimension.

😂

That was a good He-man feat, I'm glad that there wasn't any jobbing in the issue.
