Now what do the Mandarin Rings remind me of? mhmm

I hope they start replicating and start their own Corps. The incinerator ring has already shown far more capabilities then it had in the past (Matter manipulation, life support, flight, sentience etc.), might as well go all the way.

The Mandarin Corps.

Flash can fly. Sorta.

Funny, because Pre-Crisis Barry did that.

Lol, Banner is so insecure:

LOL ...
Sigh, been reading hints on CBR about Waid's plans for Banner/Hulk.

He really has put me off reading any Hulk titles. From the hints he's dropping, he's basically going to pursue the insecure/slighted/aggrieved Banner angle...

No return of Green Scar, no hint of why Banner/Hulk are no longer working in sync as they had been only a few years ago ... Nothing.

Waid is to Hulk as Hickman seems to have been to Marvel in general.

Waid is doing a good run on Hulk and I am enjoying it. WWH isn't needed and its good that he isn't being used. It keeps the character power level at a consistent level and doesn't resort to him having low showings. The more WWH have screen time, the more he'll rack up on low showings. Leave as is. By the way, WWH did have screen time under Waid. It was short but he did appear.

Nothing to do with feats, I'm talking about moving on from the "Puny Banner!"/anxious Banner/dumb Hulk tripe that was boring in the '80s and was slowly - but with some continuity - done away with through the '90s and the 00's.

Waid's "stories" might as well have been based in the '80s, they have no sense of continuity, no sense of development and instead play on heavy and dumb themes of insecurity/resentment on the part of Banner.

As if his years of managing The Hulk had never happened and he just recently realised that he'd made huge sacrifices on the self development front.

Banner making it a point of pride to be seen as more intelligent than Tony Stark? He already owned the 8 smartest men on the planet a half decade ago, he's always been one of the smartest and he's never had any insecurity on that front.

It's not all terrible, but Waid's Hulk run has been disastrous on the character development front, spotty on the action front (Hulk fighting non-entities and one-hit-wonders) and never even attempted to bring some emotional depth to the arc.

Yeah. There's also a pretty funny fastball special with Mera and Aquaman too.

Who wrote that because I'm really surprised Banner even seem insecure because the way how Waid wrote Iron Man being inferior to BRUCE or whoever wrote that A+X made it seem like Iron Man as a genius was a complete joke. I always felt like writers are wanking Bruce too hard nowadays. It's true that Bruce had potienal, but it's silly to write Bruce being better then Tony at his own field like Waid.

Whatever, I like Waid's DD better then his Hulk anyway.

Daredevil >>> Hulk

He can actually one-shot Wolverine.

BUT THE FEATS JANUS!!! Feats are the real reason to like a character, not some sort of personality.

Banner's personalities shift. They have throughout his entire career. And World War Hulk is a persona that already had its time. Pak told his story.

Waid bringing him up during the Agent of T.I.M.E. storyline is more than enough.
