Nothing to do with feats, I'm talking about moving on from the "Puny Banner!"/anxious Banner/dumb Hulk tripe that was boring in the '80s and was slowly - but with some continuity - done away with through the '90s and the 00's.
Waid's "stories" might as well have been based in the '80s, they have no sense of continuity, no sense of development and instead play on heavy and dumb themes of insecurity/resentment on the part of Banner.
As if his years of managing The Hulk had never happened and he just recently realised that he'd made huge sacrifices on the self development front.
Banner making it a point of pride to be seen as more intelligent than Tony Stark? He already owned the 8 smartest men on the planet a half decade ago, he's always been one of the smartest and he's never had any insecurity on that front.
It's not all terrible, but Waid's Hulk run has been disastrous on the character development front, spotty on the action front (Hulk fighting non-entities and one-hit-wonders) and never even attempted to bring some emotional depth to the arc.
