if you take the stone stare into account then yes gorgon should beat any street and meta.

Glad we all agree.

No, you're just a waste of time and forum space.

go and read some comics if you dont know gorgon has a healing factor. he did not tank the attacks as we see from each attack he was hurt and specially the chi one. however gorgon has healing factor and the writer doesnt need to write everytime he heals "Gorgon is healing now". the writer estimates that we know by now that gorgon can heal because thats part of his abilities.

He does have a healing factor but so what? Shang-Chi didn't even inflict any wounds that would require a healing factor, Gorgon seemed to simply tank everything.

Tanking doesn't mean shrugging off. Shang-Chi hurt him, but it wasn't like he was blowing holes in him or something. Gorgon despite his healing factor also has superhuman durability.

My point is, that Shang-Chi didn't inflict anything that could not be compensated by Gorgon's innate durability. He's not Wolverine where the entire basis of his powerset revolves around healing.

there is a difference between holding back and not using a certain ability. superman during most of his fights even when going all out doesnt use his full abilities such as going intagible or even heat vision. so if superman fights someone and wins you will claim he won while holding back just because he didnt use the heat vision? cmon.

are you serious? each strike shang chi delivered caused pain and damage. his chi blast caused real damage as we all saw. but gorgon has a healing factor and he healed. again the writer doesnt need to write everytime gorgon heals, we suppose to get it by ourselves.

prove gorgon wasnot healing. as we all see gorgon is hurt from each attack inflicted on him and we know he has a healing factor. the damage shang chi did to gorgon is not a visible damage but internal damage thats why you dont see wounds like lets say a cut that heals.

😂

Maybe, maybe not. Nobody cares about yours, that's for sure.

the healing factor kicks in automatically as damage is inflicted. gorgon does not choose when the healing factor is working and when not. basically every single time shang chi hurt him, gorgons healing factor automatically healed the internal damage because thats the way healing factor works. which means gorgon cant tank anything because his healing factor kicks in right away.

nobody cares about my opinion and yet 3 people are arguing with me? oh the irony.

You realize this thread is not a place for discussions, right?

The Chi blast knocked him off his feet and hurt him. You do not have to have a healing factor or even be superhuman to withstand that kind of physical damage to your body. Again, Gorgon also has superhuman durability.

The healing factor probably helped. Then again, the one time in the fight it would have actually come in handy is when Shang-Chi burned his eyes and it didn't seem to really change anything there.

Now we're speculating about internal organ damage or something?

i am not saying gorgon wouldnt be able to survive those attacks. however without his healing factor gorgon would not stand all fresh and ready to fight like nothing happened from all those hits that did hurt him. like it or not his healing factor which is greater than wolverines healed him every single time after each and each attack shang chi inflicted on him. if it wasnt for the healing factor after the first hit gorgon already would be hurt and not 100%, all the hits which followed just made it worse. if it wasnt for the healing factor gorgon could be done.

are you implying no damage at all was cased to gorgon from those hits? we see him flitch with pain, gorgons damage soak is insane and allowed him to get stabbed by wolverine and keep fighting without even noticing it. if shang hits made him flitch and show pain signs that means he was hurt, and it doesnt take a genius to know hits like that to the throat cause internal damage.

NEW AVENGERS #18
JONATHAN HICKMAN (W) • VALERIO SCHITI (A)
Cover by DUSTIN WEAVER
• In all of creation, only one Earth has successfully met and triumphed over each Incursion that has threatened it: the Earth of the heroes of the Great Society!
• Guess which Earth is on a collision course with ours?

Illuminati vs. Justice League? Should be interesting.

This is getting repetitive and this isn't the right thread for this discussion.

And this entire debate is moot as the healing factor IS part of Gorgon's power set.

This should prove interesting.
