Character Ownage

I'd blame the editors, personally. You should realize that getting Diana and Clark together is making WW play second fiddle to Superman. The goal of building Diana as the most important female character in comicdom shoots down the idea of her being a supporting character from the get to go. This reasoning is more than solid, it just was never happening.

I find she's not terribly compatible with Kal because she is an outsider and Superman's relationships should engage him with the world, nor making him overly alien.

Honestly, I have to disagree. They could have easily (imo) made him second fiddle in her books, and made her second fiddle in his, with the "team" book being the one that showcased both their skills. Their solo comics wouldn't even have to constantly reference each other, though she would appear more in his seeing as how he has like two/three comics.

Disagree on the outsider thing too, but I know I'm in the minority on that.

Don't forget the Zod/Faora story. Does "This one is mine." ring a bell? Clark was undoubtedly second fiddle there.

See, that's the problem right there. Superman doesn't and shouldn't play second fiddle to wonder woman. DC wanted to have their cake and eat it though. So on one hand Superman is more powerful than wonder woman but they can't anger Sjw, so they have to find increasingly contrived ways to make wonder woman look good on expanse of Superman. The result is that Superman looks like the second fiddle in the relationship when it's just not in his nature.

That Zod scene encapsulated everything wrong with this relationship. You would need to nerf superman and emasculate him for this relationship to work. And for what? Nothing beneficial for Superman franchise. At all.

If Wonder Woman is in a relationship with the biggest comicbook hero of them all, she'll be the second fiddle. She shouldn't be overshadowed because she's the biggest female superhero. This much is transparent.

Even if you liked the idea of Kal and Diana as a Superman fan, I don't see how it even begins to work for a Wonder Woman fan.

Superman must love Earth it makes more sense for him to be totally in love with a regular earthling. He can have an occassional relationship with heroes/aliens now that he's single, but it's silly to go for something heavily symbolic and ideal, because it goes against Kal's established character.

Anyways, I think that's enough off topic into that. I see the validity of your criticism against how WW/Superman was written.

What?

Can Abhi and PR take their supes/WW/lois fanfic discussion elsewhere?

Or do I need to hand out warnings? uhuh

Abhi and Pr need to get a room, yes.

Personally I was always a fan of superman and supergirl being together

Best to leave this discussion for now wrong thread and all. Not like im gonna read superman again anytime soon with how bad its been. Back to scans guys.

At this point, it seems like DC is purposefully making Supes as douchy as possible. What with the buzz cut, T-shirt and jeans, riding around a Harley, punching out Flash for trying to help him, and then randomly telling WW he doesn't love her anymore. I was half expecting another scan with him bragging to Hal about how he "totally tapped that shit bro."

Does Doom and/or Strange remember the past? Since their position during the multiversal destruction was quite unique. Or have they, too, been molded into their new roles in the war world?

-Arkham Knight-

Bane vs. Batman (2/2):

At least Bane was depicted uber as f*ck. Not only did he stomp the shit out of Bruce, but he tanked a point-blank shotgun blast to the back. 👆

So is that cannon or just story for the Arkham Knight game?

It falls under the same category as Injustice, me thinks.
