Adds to the rumor She Hulk and War Machine are going to be killed off.
I call bullshit on that. Marvel doesn't have the balls to kill a chick and a black guy at the same time.
Marvel can't afford a double negative with these useless feminist and BLM pieces of shits running around.

Enough with the DC and Marvel garbage. Does anyone know if anything good happen on the indie side this week?
Watch it. Scot does a good job. Galan is right behind with Indie stuff, every week. You don't want to look at something , scroll down. Don't grizzle about it, Wingnut. You're getting free comics, for god's sake!

That's fine but don't pretend that the viewership of comic related media hasn't changed dramatically. It's literally mainstream now. Something that used to be a boys club has become all encompassing and at this point other demographics are behind the pen of the same stories being put out now. There used to be a time where Wolverine was a beer drinking chain smoker, but as sentiments about that changed so did his image. It's the same thing as that but with actual characters and stories. You can't see Idunno, Peter Parker with a cell phone then reference instagram and not see a lesbian classmate of his openly talk about her girlfriend. It's just a sign of the times.
It has changed, I agree, we are older 😛. I haven't seen any studies and can't say if many kids or women read them but it's hard to imagine, to many tv shows and games imo.
Classic Wolverine was one of my faves. Maybe that's why it's so hard to see this (de)generation of comics. I still love the chars but can't say the same for their stories.

I'm not so sure comics themselves can be considered mainstream though when so few people really read them. Marvel movies are mainstream because its seems like a lot of the public has seen at least some of them, or are familiar with them. Marvel comics? Very few people even look at them let alone read them.
It does seem though that they are moving away from that old stereotype of the core comic reader being virgin fanboys with skin conditions and lacking social skills living in parents' basement to targeting a new stereotype of irate, overweight fangirls/women with insecurities and low self esteem and no boyfriend - but they're finding they don't actually buy comics, they just complain about 'em in blogs.
