Talking about The One Above All's (or now the "Above All Others" as he/she/it is now known) appearance. I agree with Galan.
I've always thought that if a God appears to someone it should always be in the guise of someone who is needy. Examples being the so called tramp who spoke to Spider-Man. The old man who spoke to the Fantastic Four.
There is a tale in Norse mythology about a man called Harbard (Odin in disguise but nobody knows this). He would travel around the land as a wanderer. And he could tell from the character of a person by whether or not they would welcome them in.
He also did verbally own the shit out of Thor in Hárbarðsljóð but that's off topic.
I just feel that when you make a God (and I mean the God of a set Universe whether it comics, films whatever) appear as all powerful you instantly get the dictator feel. When I think that it isn't how it should be.
The so called "Above All Others" doesn't look like a God. It just looks like a really powerful cosmic being. Completely defeating the purpose of what a supreme being is supposed to represent.
Shame on Starlin. How can you mess up something so simple.
