This is basically what I'm getting at. By himself, his solo feats(or space cheese as some call them) will be outstanding most likely, put him next to his peers in JL...is he gonna look head and shoulders over everyone or more or less the same?
New 52 already showed that he was heads and shoulders the combined power of Justice League + a dozen other heroes, and that was, retroactively, at half power that he is now:

In the meantime, the Justice League's entire combined power [i.e. Green Lantern with Krona's Gauntlet, Captain Marvel, Flash, Frankenstein and many others] is confirmed to be far less than only Superman's.

Holy flying ****.

The people tied to the machine are Krona Hal, Captain Marvel, Flash, Frankenstein and a host of others.

As canon as that is, it's ****ing awful writing imo.

I hope its revealed that Superman was actually split in 100 versions of himself and we get a glimpse of one one-shotting World Breaker Hulk.

As long as it breaks the heart of half the forum, why should I care?

I care more about Superman having good comics than I do people whining about it on a forum.

I'll settle for both.

Superman has actually been pretty good. Loved the Mxy arc.

You say this but you don't accept Lois in your heart <3

I'll honestly take DC overly wanking Superman over Batman at this point. Batman imo has become the LeBron of DC.

There isn't a feat right now that Superman could do that would convince people he is above the preconceived level the hate-gang want him at.

If ripping trans-Doomsday in half [when it was made a point that nobody on Earth could even have a prolonged fight against him except Superman], beating Imperiex Probes like they were toddlers [when each individual probe was trans-level roflstomping the rest of the heroes], beating Darkseid's eyes shut [when he was portrayed as skyfather level], counter-frequency-ing abstract Darkseid out of the Multiverse, one-shotting trans-Despero, physically overpower skyfather++ at laest Infinity Man etc. etc. weren't enough - when they comics themselves time and time again shows Superman as far above the other heroes, there ISN'T really anything that is left for him to do.

Every ridiculous feat is seen as something not showing his power - it's the OTHER guy that's actually week [see Darkseid]. He could one-shot the Presence and people would say God is just trans.

doh

Don't know what I was thinking... 😮

Did it say "half" specifically? I don't have a horse in this race - feat-based readings of comics have no appeal to me anymore - but while half could be a reasonable interpretation, so could just "weaker" in a nebulous sense.

Still a hilarious way to wank Big S.

The only street leveler im ok with wanking once in a while is Cap.

Other than that, streets annoy me with how overprotected they are.

They are like chihuahuas that are allowed to cause a ruckus precisely because of their fragility.

Didnt say half specifically.

Said it kept him weak.

So half sounds reasonable.

Didnt say half.

He was weakened in some way.

Doesnt mean hes capable of 2x any showing.

It could mean his potential was limited, that he missed out on certain powers, or something more esoteric like his spirit or will being weakened.

We dont know how significant this is.

The "half" comes from the fact that there were two Supermen, and now they've combined.

He was missing his Super Ventriloquism.

For what it's worth, Dan Jurgens' intention was the Supermen were equally as powerful, and he wrote the fake Clark as writing an article saying exactly that early in his run.

It's irrelevant either way - the main point is that the parts were less powerful than the whole, which is only logical.

Pretty much

I'm entertained.

All I know is, I am thoroughly enjoying myself.

Could have sworn he was stronger, but DC are showing my boy Supes much love. A beastly showing.
