You all finally see Gladiator fight back and when we see the results, you want to downplay it. This showing is clear and cut.

You are basically portraying that Father and son did more to them in 3 panels than the group did over most of the comic.

They couldn't even handle the Destroyer which was needed to take down these two for crying out loud.

That was still a hell of a punch from Gladiator though. Too bad he's been getting shafted lately with his opponents being weakened or dying like with Thanos.

The more you highlight what the group did to the two of them only helps to hurt your case. If throughout the fight they seemed too powerful and did not show being affected by the group then you have a very good case. Unfortunately for you that is not what happened. They would have died had Jane not shown mercy.

Again. Thor jumped off a cliff with a double hand Mjlonir slam and it did nothing to the Shiar guard. Gladiator right after punched a different Shiar guard with the same power level and koed him. This shouldn't be hard to grasp.

Yeah, lets face the facts: the Shi'ar Gods had the shit beaten out of them prior to Gladiator(and his kid) one-shotting them:

Gladiator's punch was cool and all, but given the context of the scene, I certainly do not believe it skyrockets him into a higher bracket, like I'm sure some will try and argue... Tbh, the fact that his kid did the same thing kind of shows us how weak the Gods were at the time -- Junior's track record up to this point isn't exactly stellar, after all. /shrug

Oh, and I just noticed the Destroyer one-handing the male Shi'ar God(when he was relatively 'fresh', no less):

I wish Cull would do more. The Asgardians really don't seem impressive without gear

By the end of Fear Itself he was confident he could beat Odin. I dont think he's done anything after Fear Itself. Featwise at least, nothing at all.

Didn't he and his elite guards get blitzed by mjolnir? Even though its too be expected (the comics) I don't get the fluid power showings by the upper tiered characters. The Shiar Gods were built up to be uber and that whole fight was anti-climatic. Even the femme Volstagg looked good. Plus im sick of the phoenix
