first he fights punisher and Deadpool at the same time, and now he beats Karnak? Seems like Tony's getting some actual love now.

1) Tasky ain't bad feat-wise at all, unless you love to nitpick and hate on him.

2) Karnak is a f#cing impotent loser. A nobody.

3) Tony & Wanda teamed up against Karnak.

he isn't bad, but he gets tooled too often IMO.

Still not a bad feat.

Karnak still couldn't hit Tony before Wanda helped.

Karnak is a jobber to the stars

I'm honestly praying that marvel is turning a new leaf by writing him the way he was always meant to be written.

Who is that michael jackson looking fellow with the lightsaber?

Sick art. Looks vintage.

Doubtful. He still only beats up mooks in inhumans

Ulic Qel-Droma. He's one of the more well known sith lords during the old republic, beat Mandalore the Indomitable in a 1v1 fight, became the warlord of the Empress Teta system, became the second in command to Exar Kun (who is among the top ten most powerful sith lords), killed his brother Cay in a fit of rage, was stripped of his force powers, redeemed himself and when he died he became one with the force.

Think of a far less whiny and way more justified Anakin existing about four thousand years before Anakin and you'd pretty much have what he was.

Nice.

Is that art from a book cover? A comic?

It makes me want to read whatever it is, and I can't even stand Star Wars normally. lol

Skillset wise, Taskmaster should beat almost all street level guys and be one of best martial artists in Marvel.

both my avi and my signature are from covers. If you're interested, you should check out Ulic Qel-Droma and the Beast Wars of Onderon (sounds like a heavy metal album right?) Because that's his first appearance. He's more or less the main character in the Tales of the Jedi series.

Any required background reading I need to do?

I assume not that much, since from what you are saying its prequel/EU stuff and has little ties to the main story.

no real required background reading. There might be one or two names that you don't recognize, but that should be it.

Michael Cray AKA Deathblow is going to have a 12 issue Maxiseries!! And he's crossing over with Green Arrow? 😱

Warren Ellis’ critically acclaimed relaunch of WildStorm gets its first solo spinoff series! Michael Cray, professional assassin, has been betrayed by International Operations and has an alien life-form in his head that’s either killing him, transforming him, or both. The only thing that can bring sense to his life is for him to do what he does best: kill the wrong people for the right reasons. But Michael needs support and resources to hit back against I.O., and he gets them in exchange for working with Trelane, taking out her targets, his way. First up? A sociopathic silicon-valley billionaire by the name of Oliver Queen!

Bat-Flash AKA Red Death? From the Dark Multiverse.

“JUSTICE INSURGENCE” part one! After the harrowing events of DARK NIGHTS: METAL #3, the JUSTICE LEAGUE has scattered around the world to find the only artifacts that can fight back against the invasion of the Dark Multiverse. The League thinks they know how to take back their world, but they are not prepared for who is standing in their way. The Seven Dark Knights of the Dark Multiverse. All the brilliance of Batman, but none of the morals. Barry Allen, The Fastest Man Alive, is the first to get a taste of their plan, as BATMAN: THE RED DEATH takes him on at the Fortress of Solitude.

That'd be my guess.

Should be quite interesting when these alternates start popping up. 👆

Parallax/Hal vs. Guy:

Lol.

That one with Laura was embarrassing. Instead of getting hurt by her foot claw and fighting through the pain he screams like a ***** and buckles completely? Come the phuck on lol
