Look at the last image.

The description is what a Peak Human is, far beyond an Olympic athlete.

And what Cap has done on panel, is far beyond that description 😉

Brubaker elaborated on the peak human thing nicely, having interpreted it as the peak human potential, evolutionary next-step, something no human from our time can ever train himself to be.

PS. T'Challa after his depowerement was at peak human level:

Steve was doing damn fine without the SSS, too.

Even a c-list villain like Bushman is a peak human...

Handbooks are horrible. Virtually all of them feature a vastly over simplified method of rating characters that have no real bearing on what is actually demonstrated. Handbooks say that Thing, Colossus, Namor, and freaking Thanos top out at 100 tons.

According to handbooks, Romulus is immune to the muramasa blade and Daken has had his skeleton laced with a magical plasmic form.

Oh, and Thanos stalemated Odin 😂

I forget, what's Odin's handbook strength rating?

Below Class 100, iirc.

Originally Black Panther was considered to be a peak human thanks to the herbs he used.

Nope.

The Class 100 was originally 100 tons but now it is in excess of 100 tons aka incalculable so that fits.

60 in this one. lol

Which is true and it precise that Odin can boost his original strength through the use of the Odinforce but he is still "weaker" physically than Thor.

Same stuff with Zeus and Hercules IIRC.

Which was just another lie 😉

The amping thing is horribly vague, same with the chi amping.

Needs to be shown/stated on panel, otherwise it's just a load of bs spawned by handbooks.

No the rating for them gives them a 6 in strength, which is 80-100 tons, a 7 is simply everyone who can lift over 100 tons be it Sasquatch or Thor/Herc.

For that matter, handbooks all say that Gamora has human level strength(2-3) when it was specifically said on panel that she has Spiderman level strength and that they needed to upgrade their records to place her at Ironman level strength.

The handbooks take their infos from the comics

This is the third page on the subject, and it's in the wrong place. By all means, make a Captain America stats thread somewhere, just don't use this one for the discussion, please.

They really don't. See my Gamora example... or the fact that one of the handbooks you posted lists Cap's running speed at 30 miles an hour while in Comics he can run a lot faster.

Edit
My bad Pr, you posted while I was writing

Yes and it's a terrible lie, whichever way you want to look at it.

Peak human, but not being able to lift 800 pounds as the other "peak" human, Cap?

Then they have him doing stuff like this:

Not really...

They're made in a hurry by incompetent idiots.

I guess that we will simply continue to discuss it in PM.

Okay 👆

On a different note, did anyone read Uber this week? I don't have the scans but goddamn there was an insanely good bit of ownage in that. A really cool bit of super speed vs super strength/durability in Uber's more 'realistic' setting.

True 😆

Iron Fist recent showings are in the same way. ^^

With the Netflix series being his overall worst showing of all time. 🙁

edit...I JUST read that Diamondback one hand no sold the Iron fist and snapped his back Bane style......
