IOW, actual relatable issues.
To a degree. The first 6 0r 7 were great...the tension and build up was palatable. Especially the "pain" and internal trauma Jen felt transforming. However once she did it felt anti-climatic. Tamaki is great at building tension, foreboding...not so much at fight/action sequences. So you will feel a bit underwhelmed. She does a great job focusing on Jen..not so much on Shulk. Its a decent book so im not gonna bail...yet. Tamaki just needs to get a balance story wise.
Im also torn between her scenes with Hellcat...sometimes ita genuine friendship and other times its filler.

Yeah. But at least e can relate to her feelings of betrayal, of anger, loss etcWhereas Banner (especially during Indestructible)? Oh look, here's the strongest guy on Earth, who's also one of the smartest, and now has jury rigged a Gameboy into a sonic screwdriver..oh woe is him! Feel sorry!

Look at the modern grey Shulkie, compare her to classic.Same with the modern Carol, compare her to Warbird.

Well? Someone took their breats away (literally) or what?
With that said, I'm not sure why Marvel is having so much trouble properly balancing the figure of a strong woman with the figure of a pretty woman. DC is actually nailing it perfectly with wonder woman, so why is it so hard for Marvel?

Because women in comics are oversexualized with often times obscene proportions. Comic book artists got called out on it and toned it down. Whereas male bodies are drawn as the epitome of fighting physical perfection, women are little more than porn stars.
