I just hate the arbitrary elevation of a Japanese God (not even a very important Japanese God to boot) to Abstract level.
What's worse is that the mythological Amatsu Mikaboshi was a God of the Stars, so this "nothingness and darkness" bullshit comes from nowhere so far as I can tell.

You're missing the point about Amatsu-Mikaboshi not even being important within his own religion. So why should he rise multiple tiers above the likes of Zeus, Odin, or Vishnu?
