Thing is a noble brick who is deserving of praise. BUT he was totally out classed by someone stronger and who is just an all around better fighter. If Thing is a brawler, Colossus is more a specialist. He will take what you give him and exploit it. So far the only ones who have been able to beat the Colossunaut are those whose strategic thinking is superior to his. Rulk would be the only brick so far. It just so happens he's a General, so it makes sense.
I love Thing, but being serious Colossus didn't even get the least bit ticked off and still cleaned Ben's clock.
This wasn't angry Piotr, NO hint of demon-Piotr, he was calmly thinking to himself and whooped Ben's rocky butt.
The writing has shown since Colossus received the Juggernaut that when he has problems and gets angry his thinking gets jumbled and he has a tendency to get confused. This was more like a late-night spar in the danger room.
Considering he was beating down Red Hulk before throwing the fight on purpose, the only good measure of Piotr's new ability will be when he is pitted against good ol' Green Hulk.
So we have Cain Marko as Juggernaut in a Thunderbolts solicit and now Colossus on the cover of Cable and the X-Force. Will Piotr retain the powers or lose them?
