Yes. What If's are ment for creators to write different versions of how things would be. The Watcher is used as a narrator of the story. Some writters chose to have him and others don't. I'm not picking and chosing anything; if I did quote me on it.
He's merely there as a narrator to begin a story. What If's are ment to be fun and there for the writters to do with. Uata shows up for important events; not what if Spiderman kept the Enigma Force. Writters chose to do add him as a narrator. In a what if where Impossible Man had the IG, he wasn't even included.

Nobodies denying alternate universes exist. What If alternate universes aren't the same thing as MU alternate universes. When protor used Watcher to look into an alternate universe, was that universe a What If?
AOA is alternate universe. There's also a What if The Age Of Apocalypse Had Not Ended where writters were able to bring Galactus into the frey of the AOA.
you asked for proof and it has been supplied. you yourself could have supplied it. why disregard what the watcher is saying?
the watcher of OUR universe says that these 'what if' universes comprise the multiverse. it's not simply momentous events that spawn new universes, it is any event that can have more than one outcome. in one universe you put on your right shoe first. in another, you put on your left shoe first. there are an infinity of alternate universes. what ifs ARE a gimmick, but that doesn't mean they are seperate from the rest of the mu. you have verbal evidence stated by the watcher. you have proctor in the avengers arc (a black knight from an 'alternate universe who used an alternate watcher to search OTHER alternate realities for sersi and alternate avengers) using a watcher because he can see into these alternate universes. (it was an avengers arc - not a what if)
you've claimed the what ifs are NOT part of the mu. what proof do you have of this aside from your claim that they are just 'fun' stories, which is simply an opinion, and unfounded at that?
aoa is also an alternate. it doesn't have to be a 'what if' story to be an alternate universe. not trying to be a dick, b, but i don't get your side of the argument at all.
