Umm.......i don't know, but he did stalemate Superboy and took out a mind controlled kryptonian and i'd say they're above thing's strength so even if he's not..........i dunno.

Why don't you just go for Karnak though? 😬

Nope, he meets all of the requirements. He's not a class 85 or more durable than Thing. His energy projection is below Ironman. He doesn't posess any OHKO abilities, and his speed is below Mach 10. He's simply a highly skilled combatant. He meets all limitations.

there is a level of skill in martial arts that theoretically makes your character give OHKO all the time

im not saying its the case here, as im not sure

he sounds ok to me, im not sure WHAT, if ANYTHING he is going to do against a highly mobile energy projector, but im not a Karate Kid expert unfortunatly

id say he is below all the limits and you just made one HELL of a good choice

This is pretty good description of Post-Crisis KK:

Everyone in the Legion brings something to the team. In most cases, it involves a particular 'super power' (or collection of powers) coupled with the skills and knowledge to use them towards the betterment of the Galaxy. In Val's case, however, his 'qualifying criteria' is based entirely on pure skill. Or to put it bluntly, Val earned his place on the Legion because he just may be the deadliest (non-powered) hand-to-hand combatant in the galaxy.

Val has mastered a dizzying array of martial arts (likely well over 100) from both Earth and beyond, and more frighteningly still, continues to seek out new ones to further hone his prowess. Val's combat skills are so advanced that he has proven capable of holding his own (and even proving victorious) in single combat against opponents of vastly superior strength, speed and durability (to include his teammate M'onel/Valor).

His skills are equally balanced between offensive and defensive abilities, and include both 'hard' and 'soft' styles, as well as grappling arts. He has a complete mastery of leverage maneuvers and turning opponents' momentum against them, as well as striking nerve clusters and pressure points to disable opponents quickly and efficiently. He can deflect melee weapons and even some ranged attacks with his bare hands, and is incredibly evasive when he chooses to be. He has trained across a wide variety of environments, and can fight quite effectively even in high-gravity, low-gravity, or even zero-gravity environments, as well as compensating for extreme environmental conditions.

In all truth, his combat style knows no true weakness. He can be overcome by a diligent application of superhuman strength and speed, or vastly superior numbers (though not overcome -easily-), but in a straight fight, there are few, if any, that are his equal. He is without a doubt the most formidable personal combatant in the Legion, in terms of pure skill.

Basically, if anyone comes trying to fight him h2h without flying, they'll lose.

It's due to skill, not power. There's no limits on skill. He meets all requirements presented in this tournament.

KK doesn't have any Post Crisis feats to judge by though. It's pretty much Pre Crisis or nothing.

wouldnt iron man be able to hover, say, 20 feet above the ground and blast the crap out of him?

even with the ring, he has to be under mach 10

just make sure you have a good blaster on your team
