Real Life Mutants 2

Jim had headed for an apartment too, he took a shower and put his clothes back on. He went outside hoping to find Shadow, he wanted to ask him something.

Shadow walked the streets, looking for something to occupy his time. Out of the corner of his eye he saw the person from earlier move down an alleyway. "Hey!" He shouted running down the alley after the person. There was a dead end, and no where for anyone to run to. He sighed, attributing the ghostly figure to his insomnia.

Zack, bored of clothes shopping, had wandered into a sports store. Amused, he took a football (American style) and threw it, idly using his power to make it cartwheel and loop in the air.

Name: Karen Titan
Age: 16
Power: Can control and manipulate water, can also take the color or shape of anything. (she dares not do any non living thing)

Name: Jim Titan
Age: 20
Power: Camouflage (turn pretty much invisible)

Talia was bored. She didn't have anything to do, so she went outside only to see Shadow walking by himself.

"Hey Shadow! I just want to say thank you for bringing me to your friends. Actually, I want to thank you for sharing your friends," she said. "It's been a long time since I've had some friends. Now I have some. Plus, they're just like me. Mutants. Thank you," Talia said and ran back in the apartment.

Eli was so sleepy. So hungry. He had to get something to eat so he could have a peaceful night rest. He went through the whole apartment looking for that bag Shadow said had some food in it. When he couldn't find it, he decided to go back in time a few hours when a MacDonald's was open and get him something to eat that way.

He went to take a shower so he wouldn't look so suspicious. After that he was on his way.

When he was in the past, he found the restaurant and paused everything in it because he didn't have any money to pay for anything. He grabbed all that he wanted and left. Everything unpaused as he walked out the door. No one noticed him.

He was back at the apartment and was about to go back to his right time, when he noticed a car that wasn't there before. From the way this neighborhood looked, the car was certainly out of place. He went to look in the car and saw some of the same equipment they used in the mutant camps.

"What are you doing here," someone asked Eli from behind.

"Uh, I was just leaving," Eli said as he turned around.

Just as he was about to go back to his time, he saw one of the guys faces. It was one of the guys that abused him in the camp.

"I know you," the guy said.

"Yeah, I know. You drugged me, raped me and then beat me," he said and went home.

When he got back, he woke the whole group up and told them what he'd been through at the camp and what he saw in the past.

Shadow spun around, "Oh bugger..." He looked around for a way past Jim, he couldn't see any, "And what may I do for you today?"

Jim pulled the chip out of his pocket.
"Tell me what this is?" He said holding the chip in between two fingers.

"You idiot!" Shadow said lunching for the chip, he knocked it out of Jim's hands, it flew somewhere down the alley. Shadow dropped to his knees and crawled around looking for it.

"What is it?!" Jim said getting up and looked around for the chip too.

"It's a chip, that was inserted into my head by my supposedly kind father. It transmits it's position so that he could know where i was when I was part of his master plan to make me work for them..."

Jim stood there, as if frozen, staring blankly at Shadow. He felt like this could be bad news for Karen, he would hope she would be mad at Shadow. Then again...he had the chip too.

Shadow found the chip, he looked around for something heavy, finally settling on a loose brick from a wall. He brought it down hard on the chip smashing it.

"So I was mostly right, you have been working for them too." Jim finally replied.

"What? I've never worked for them as you call it. I tore that chip from my head - a very sore and a very dangerous procedure, I'm still not sure of all it's effects it's done to me, but I never worked for them!" Shadow said moving closer to Jim.

[Jack was walking though the alleyways he had just gotten a hoody some jeans and he had taken a shower.He was looking for the group of people that was at the hut with him.He was shaking his head when he head something break in the alleyway up ahead.He walk slowly as to make sure the were not Caps or something.Jack was surprised to see Jim and the guy who walked of with Karen back at the hut.]

"Hey wait a minute, you left for a while back at the hut, where did you go, eh?" Jim heard something and turned around to see Jack.

Shadow looked up and saw Jack near the enterence to the alleyway, "I've got this one thanks mate" He gave Jack a thumbs up and hoped he would walk off back to the apartment. He movedcloser to Jim again and whispered "I came here to get some food, I thought that maybe while we had a moment of freedom I'd finally treat your sister to the meal I had promised her."
