"A bit angry are you? I'm that the military leader of this here facility, when you destroyed my camp in New Jersey I was re-posted back here again." Shadow's dad said, moving closer to Karen.

Karen took a step back, she could feel her heart pounding. "Well, you better find a better home, cause we will be destroying this camp."

"As much as I doubt that, you may get out of here - him though, he dies here. Idiot used his powers coming to your rescue, so I'm told." He turned to head off, "He'll be dead within the day, and it's all because of you..." He smiled, "you just think of that while you're stuck there - watching him die..." He walked off down the corridor again.

"He will not die, you bastard!" She yelled after him. She moved backwards to the wall and slid down it, trying not to cry. She thought that he was right, it was her fault.

"Hey, hey." Alice moved to the cell bars again, "Look at me. It's not your fault. He was just trying to break your spirit. Listen, just think of something happy.....uh....what's your name?" Ace realised she hadn'r asked the name of her companion.

"Hmmm well, I can control and manipulate water, and shape-shift....what would you call me?" Karen wanted to amuse herself.

"I...I don't know...." Alice said.

"Aqua...." came a weak voice from behind, as Shadow faded into unconciousness again.

"Aqua? Yeah, I guess it's a good name for you." Ace said smiling as she went back to Shadow's side, she wiped some more blood off his lips and swept his hair back again. " Was it true what he said? Were you two a.....couple?" She asked, slightly diasappointed.

Karen looked at the ground.
"Sh-she called me Aqua..." A tear ran down her face. "She said save us Aqua, fight for our freedom..."

Alex was in the corner of the cell the entire time silently he stared at the wall listening to Ace (short i know... but i am horrible at entrances and Shalimar said i should join by being in the cell

Back at the apartment Eli was nervous.

"Karen and Shadow can't be in trouble. They are two very powerful mutants. And Justice should have called by now."

"Maybe he can't," Talia said. "What if they were all caught. You did say that you saw MPs here when you went into the past. What if they got them and Justice."

"No. We can't think like that. Justice just left an hour ago. I'll give him two more hours, then we each go out looking for them."

Eli knew he wasn't the leader, but all the leaders were gone. He felt like he should be the one to take charge since no one else was eligible. Jim was untrustworthy, Jack and Zack were always fighting, and Talia was too young.

"Group, you all don't mind if take the lead while Justice, Shadow and Karen are MIA?"

Ace looked at the wall next to the bunk, "Alex, are you still there? I could use some help comforting this one."

~She's been in the cell for enough years to know that there'd be a mutant next door, so she'll know Alex~

meanwhile in new york a teen of 15 years of age walks into a convience store. he gathers some food under his arm and walks over to the counter. His clothes are jeaans and a shirt, with burn marks and a flame pattern on the bottom. The shopkeeper asks for the money. the teen pulls out a pistol, the lazer sighting, inbetween the man's eyes. the bullet goes deep into the man;s head as the teen runs with the food.

"Sorry..." Karen looked back up. "I guess you would call us a couple...I love him..."

immediatly half a dosen cop cars rushed to the scene, blocking off all exits. They were armed with submacineguns, his pistol was useless.
Suddenly the temperature sharply rized. the cars began to glow bright red and the guns were beggining to melt.

"Oh....." Ace said, disappointed again. "Well.......just think of a happy time you two had together......it'll help you through this...."

in a few seconds his clothes had added burn marks, the cars were puddles of molten metal and the police... the less said about them the better

he ran for the nearist car that was still solid, he jumped over a melted police barricade and smashed a car window, food in the back seat, he drove, and simoltainiously tried to get the sticky mess that was once a pistol off his hand

"The happy times never ended happy..." Karen stood up as if she had a brilliant idea. "Hey is there a way I can talk to that one guy again?"

"You mean his dad?" Ace asked shocked, "Just make a big enough ruccas and he should come running."

as he raced, pesued by police he thoughtfully threw the now detached piece of metal-plastic out of the window, coincidently it smashed through a cop car windscreen, sedding the car into a spin.
"now... where to"
