"Thats his dad?" Karen said, a little surpised. "Freaky...I would plug your ears..." Karen screamed, as loud and long as she could. Once she stopped she took a deep breath and felt a little dizzy.

(occ: i don't mean to double post, but my spelling sucked in that last one)

"What the **** is wrong with you!?" Shadows dad said, marching down the corridor, a plastic gun in his hand.

"I saw a bunny-mouse looking thing." She said rolling her eyes. "I want to make a deal with you..."

John laughed, "A deal? You're in no position to make a deal."

suddenly he had a pang of sorrow, he was alone, noone in his life, the only people he knew-the government wanted him dead. As he had these thoughts fire began to rain from the sky.
"not again..." he muttered under his breath, looking at the horrified look on the cop's faces in the wingmirror. he sobered up and the rain gradually stopped, by now the cops were shouting down their walkie-talkies at the roadside.

Shadow woke up briefly, he heard what Karen said, and looked up at his father, "You........*******........you'd kill.....you own......so..." then he was out again.

Ace wiped sweat off his head, and looked at John. "Please give him the antidote..."

"Never...I wasn't intending on giving him it even if he did bring everyone here. I just needed him to believe I would." He turned to Karen, "Ok, bring them here."I'll have some guards escort you out, and tag you. If you try anything suspicious, the tag will shock you - and as you can become water...it'll be very servere."

"help..." his voice drifted off.
he wondered what thiss meant, bieng locked up and killed, like the government "helped the nation". given company, a home food...
he was indecisive, but not in a risky mood.
"n...n...no thanks" he turned his back

as just was walking he felt something hit his head with extream force.As everythiing went black.The guards drug him into an holding cell after having an little fun with the mutant.

"Why would you let your son die?" Karen asked quietly.

Nox looked at this boy and tilted her head and giggled again. "Unsure and confused..." She sat down cross legged and closed her eyes. She had sent her soul to one of the policemen.
"Guys let just forget about this and grap a donut, eh?" She made the policeman speak.

"That!" John pointed at Shadow, "That is no son of mine." He stormed off down the corridor as some guards bought another mutant down the corridor and threw him in the cell next to Karen.

"And that was payback for what he said to me..." Karen said quietly. She watched the guards pull a boy she recognized into the cell next to hers. "Justice?!"

the other cops looked at him, and confused they went along with it

"what are you doing?" he asked looking at her, crosslegged on the dusty floor

"We better leave, they will come back." Nox said still smiling.

a car drove past
"how about that one?"

Justice opened his eye."What happen?" he looked at his shirt "who's? blood is this?Karen? what are you doing here?"

Nox closed her eyes again, sending her soul to the person in the car that just went by. The car screeched with a stop and reversed back to them.
"Get ready to knock this guy out." She made the guy speak as she got him to come out of the car. She then made her soul return.

"Don't ask anything, only answer..." Karen said as quite as she could to Justice. "Tell me everything that you saw before getting here, where was Jim?"
