Real Life Mutants 2

~H3llboy, I'm going to introduce my character Xavier to you. Could you look at his character sheet to get a picture of how his powers work?~

Xavier was walking home from school. He was in the middle of crossing the street, when a car with two people in it came racing towards him. He felt his power working by itself. He didn't know how to use them, so he let them do it.

The car zigzagged around him and flipped over. He ran to the car to see if the people were hurt. He saw that it was a girl and boy in the car.

"You two are a little too young to be driving don't you think?"

Just then he heard the sirens coming towards him.

"Let me guess, those cops are after you two. Well come with me."

He lead the boy and girl to his house and gave them something to eat and drink.

"So what did you do that causes the cops to be after you guys?"

"I have to steal, it's the only way i can live, iv'e tried to get jobs, but they won't let me, i sometimes do strange things..." his voice drifted off "like whan i get sad, or angry, or scared. sometimes i can control it, sometimes..." he gave him a look that finished the scentance"i don't even know why i can do these things, iv'e heard them talking about misfits, freaks, and most common, they talk about mutants..." he sighed "i don't even know what one is, iv'e only seen things like videos entitled attack of the mutant, and it has a huge green scaly thing, i'm not like that, yet they still call me it..."

Nox stayed in the corner watching them, not wanting to speak much, for both of their souls were black, yet this Xaviers' soul had a blueish ting to his. She continued watching them talk, smiling.

Three guards walked down the corridor and opened the cell door. Two walked in and grabbed Karens arms, the third pulled out a syringe and walked behind her, injecting someting into the back of her neck.

At the apartment, the group was restless.

"Its been more than a 3 hours since we last heard from any of them, Eli. Could we just go looking for them now," Talia asked.

"Yeah. We split up in two groups. Talia and Zack with me. Jack and Jim are another group. We search this town inside and out for Shadow,Karen and Justice," Eli said. "If we need to get in contact with each other, Shoot something into the air that's going to explode.

"I know that it's a risky thing to do, but that's all we have is our powers. Now split. If you happen to find them do what you can to help them.But what ever you do, don't lead the MP back here. Got it ? Good. Move!"

Karen closed her eyes in pain. She kept thinking about what would happen if her plan messed up, what if Jim didn't remember.

h3llboy, after finishing looked at nox, as if she knew somthing, he wanted to know, slightly pleadingly

The guards escorted Karen outside and threw her in the mud. "Shame that the boss didn't want you harmed, we could have had quite a bit of fun with you" One said disappointed, heading back into the camp,

"Yeah. I thought the same thing when I first heard about mutants, too. I wonder if that's what I am," Xavier said. His parents came in the house.

"Xavier, we're home," his mom said.

"I'm in my room. I have company. Is that all right?"

"Sure," his dad said. "Dinner is in two hours. Is your company staying?"

Xavier looked at the two kids with a questioning look, "Are you two staying or what?"

"I'll obey Zack, not you." Jim said as he turned invisible and walked out of the building, searching for Karen once again.

"Fine. whatever. Just make sure you find a way to get in contact with us if you find anything," Eli yelled as Jim left.

"That guy really needs an attitude adjustment," Talia said. "And I just might be the one to give it to him."

Justice hopped up"If you hurt her I will kill you!!"

An woman with dark hair walked the streets of the town*Yes dear,I can.I'm sensing your in an camp not too far away.I'll be there *

"I'm not sure he's ready to be moved yet, but I guess we've got to take our chance when we see it." Ace said looking at the newcommer in the cells.

The other two guards just ignored Karen and turned back to the camp.

Nox looked at Xavier and smiled even more.
"I would love to eat." She said.

Jim walked the familer streets again, he knew Karen wasn't here, she had to be out of town...

"Seems as if I am almost free..." She said and headed towards a direction that she hoped would be the right way.

"My cuasin is coming to bust us out.What wrong with him.We need him he's like the older brother of our make shift family"

"He did something very stupid and now he's hanging on by a thread to life. He's been given the antidote, but I think he was given it too late." Ace replied, putting the back of her hand on Shadow's head, "he's burning up..."

Xavier looked at the boy, "Well?"

"Well, I guess that leaves you with me and Talia, Jack. You in," Eli asked him.

Bethany was tired of being by herself. She was tired of not being able to hold her boyfriend, Xavier's hands. She knew that she had some semblance of control over her death touch. She just didn't want to risk it. She really wanted to see Xavier, however, so she got her gloves and left to go over his house.

"i had some food, i stole from a shop, i think i lost it, i havn't eaten in about a week now"

"Yeah mom. They're staying for dinner," Xavier said.

"Karen, long time no talk, after all you were supposed to die with my brother..." Karen stopped walking and turned around, there standing behind her was Tom. "So why did they just let you go." Tom then asked.
"I have something to do." She answered staring at the ground. Tom walked closer to Karen and put his hand under her chin, lifting her head up so he could look into her eyes.
"You look so much like your mother..." He said and Karen whacked his hand away from her. "If you had been my daughter there could have been a high chance that you wouldn't have been a mutant, you would have had a wonderful life." He smirked and walked off to the camp.
"Funny how you fell in love with my mother, who is a mutant." She said once she knew Tom was far from her.
Tom walked into the camp as a MCG pointed his gun at him.
"Hold it there, I'm the commander of the Arizona camp," He said and pulled out his I.D. "I need to speak with your boss." The MCG nodded and led him to John.

"Tom!?" John said suprised, he was looking at several video feeds from around the camp. "What brings you here?"

Shadow rolled over, his hands and knees caught his fall. Blood dripped from his mouth again, the threw himself over onto his back. Ace ran over and stood above him. She wiped more blood away from his chin, a tear ran down her face and landed on his cheek. The light shone behind her head, illuminating her, Shadow slowly faded back out into his dreams again.
