Shadow watched them leave, he was using all his strength to stay standing. He moved further down the corridors to the control room - he had been quiet while Karen and Jim had seen him, as far as he was concerned they had both betrayed the group.
Ace threw some more stones at some guards, charging them up and throwing them. "It feels good to finally use my powers - you think you can get another water fight going on down there lady?" She asked seeing two people coming down from the control centre way.
When Eli got into the area where they did the testing and torturing of the mutants, he saw nothing. He had no idea where Jack had went. He was alone.
*I know it's here. I just have to find, he said to himself.*
He heard someone running down the halls. He hid up against the wall. It was a guard.
"Just one guard by himself? They're really getting careless about breakouts."
Eli paused the guard and took his gun.
"Just in case you try to nullify someones powers."
Talia was with Zack when they came in here but somehow they got split up in all the ruckus.
"Well, at least I won't have to worry about holding back on the pain," she said out loud.
She spotted some guards with guns and told the floor to make waves. It was like they were trying to surf without boards.
"Throw them up against the wall and do that to the rest of the guards that come down this hallway," she said to the floor.
She ran down the hall and saw a water wall blocking her path.
"So Karen has to be here. She has water powers."
She went around a corner and something ran into her.
"Ow. What was that?"
* Wait. I heard that Jim can turn invisible.*
"Jim, is that you," Talia asked.
"Don't..." Came a voice from behind Shadow, he knew it to be his mothers. "You're still weak, I'm actually suprised you can stand at all. But if you use your powers...it could still kill you..."
Shadow stopped, as if he wasn't paying attention, but he heard every word.
"Leave him be...there'll be another time...another place...he's your father, and he loves you.......he's just been manipulated into believing this is the only way to help you...please go..."
Shadow turned to look at her, his vision was blurring again, he collapsed onto the floor.

Ace touched one of the walls and moved back, the wall exploded. "Everyone out..." she ordered, "I'm going to go check on shadow!"

"I'm coming with you, Alice." Karen felt a flush of jealousy, it seemed Ace cared more about Shadow than she did, and Karen did not like that.
After dinner with his new friends, his mom and dad and Bethany, Xavier was ready to talk.
"May we be excused," he asked his parents.
"Sure. But make sure that these dishes get done before you go to bed tonight," his dad said.
When he got to his room, he properly introduced Bethany to Nox and H3llboy.
"So what kind of name is H3llboy," Bethany asked.
"All that is about to get revealed to right now," Xavier said excitedly. "Have you ever heard of mutants before, Beth?"
Bethany couldn't believe it. What in the world made Xavier talk about mutants. Especially with what she had to tell him.
"Yeah. What about mutants," she replied questioningly.
"Well, Nox and H3llboy are mutants. Nox can posses someone and H3llboy can start fires."
Bethany didn't know what to say.
"And guess what else, I am, too," Xavier said with a smile on his face.
"Wow. So am I," Bethany blurted out.
