That was good DC.

Blitzkrieg can fly in straight line...the treetops (and the smoke) will hinder your team noticing him from upwards, and the trees (and the smoke, again) will prevent your team finding his path until they arrive at the place.

I know the general direction of your team. Blitzkrieg might be an obsucure character who no one has heard before this Tournament, but he certainly isn't stupid. Unless Blitzkrieg assumes that your team is running away from them, (and he isn't that self-preserved) he will be blocking their path with his lightning. The smoke takes at least few minutes to arrive to my team, unless there is very fast wind blowing straight at my team. So Blitzkrieg doesn't have to worry about blowing the smoke away.

Meanwhile, KK and Vertigo are flying straight at the fire that Blitzkrieg has started.

And continous trail of lightning follows him, but nothing stops him from flying like this:

Your team won't see his trail behind the trees. And Blitzkrieg has skill to do that, he can fly even inside rooms.

You already said Blitzkrieg was going to blow away the smoke, and before that he was going to be flying ahead with Thing causing a comotion to draw my team out.

Now he's going to set trees on fire. How many trees?

A forest is a large area, and Blitzkrieg can only blast line of sight.

Dizzle stated in the battlefield description that visibility over long distances is hindered due to the amount of trees, so if he's going to burn a large area, he's going to have to fly, and if he flies, he's going to light up the area he's in very brightly with a trail of lightning which will make him easy to spot and avoid.

KK can already fly faster than he can, and he doesn't give away his position when he does so, so Blitzkrieg is not going to know which direction they are coming from.

Also, Blitzkrieg does not have superhuman reflexes or a heightened sense of sight or hearing, he simply has electricity powers. He can't survey the entire forest and track every position.

He's not Supes.

Are you aware how bright lightning is? Let alone a continuous trail of lightning.

So it would shine through trees? I doubt that his lightning is as bright as normal - he doesn't blind everyone on his vicinity.

Apparently I aren't allowed to change plans? And obviously he isn't doing that if he sees the smoke, because that wasn't my orginal plan.

He could always land on top of a tree and not have the lighting bridge. He can blast stuff when not flying. And the continous lightning coming all around them will mess their senses up to some degree.

Umm...from the general direction? And they cant' fly towards to him without him hearing them, an object flying with 200 MPH makes sound. Since they are only 100 yards away, Blitzkrieg can see the general area of their starting position, especially when Monolith is setting it on fire. He can blast the trees around the area, hindering the movement of your team even more as they have to avoid lightning that comes from clear sky.

Also, Blitzkrieg does not have superhuman reflexes or a heightened sense of sight or hearing, he simply has electricity powers. He can't survey the entire forest and track every position.

He isn't deaf or blind either.

And your guys won't know where my team is either.

So you're using my plan now?

Just hindering your team the best I can. I aren't allowed to counteract?

It's not neccesary either. Blitzkrieg can just land on the treetops for a while to cancel the lightning bridge. Messing up your team. Your OWN smoke can be enough too.

1) It's old comic's physics. His lightning didn't electrocute Captain America, and some how was a solid platform for Cap to land on mid fall. From that evidence, it would seem Blitzkrieg's lightning is harmless.

2) You've changed plans many, many times. Now to the point where you're using my plan.

3) If Blitzkrieg lands on the canopy, he'll be 100+ feet in the air looking down into a smoke filled forest. He blasts by line of sight, he won't have any targets but the tops of other trees.

4) We're 1000 yards apart in a forest. I don't have to fly riectly ay you (which I stated I wouldn't). I fly fast enough to take a round about way to flank your position, and with the sound of burning and crackling trees (and Blitzkrieg not having a super sense of hearing, or super-sight), he's not going to know which way they are coming from.

So Blitzkrieg sits put 100+ feet above the battlefield in the canopy of a burning forest while his team is engaged in combat?

1) Maybe it was his find carrying him? He can generate objects from electricity too.

2) My orginal plan didn't involve your team setting the forest on fire. I am forced to use it? Your orginal plan didn't involve Karate Kid flying with Vertigo either.

3) But he can use it to make your team lose the tracking of his bridge...

4) How are you going to suprise him if he is in mid-flight, above the trees? You have to show up from the trees and attack him. And he can see you if you do that.

If he goes above the trees, you can't see him because the smoke and the treetops. Vertigo has to be close to her targets. As soon as you show up on his line of sight, you will be blasted down. And Blitzkrieg's shields protect him from Monolith's blasts (if he even sees him, that is).

No...just for a while...is your whole team going to be focused on Blitzkrieg?

Another question, by the way...which incarnation of Living Monolith you are going to use?

He can create electrical constructs? I thought that got banned?

Was it? It said that right in his bio.

Iron Man can generate shields too, so I suppose it wouldn't be banned...

I'm using Monolith post transformation from Living Pharoah to Living Monolith. Not the 50 foot version that stomped through New York just before becoming the Living Planet, the version that battled the X-Men:

Okay.

Generating a personal shield is okay. Generating objects out of energy got banned (like Aleta, GL, Darkstar, Invisible Woman, etc.).

But weren't The Ray, Doctor Light and Ultimate Iron Man also accepted?

He can also create objects such as shields, cages and spheres out of lightening by charging the particles in the atmosphere in strict formations. These objects remain in existence for as long as he can concentrate upon them. This generally is a matter of minutes.

I hadn't noticed that before. He can create cages and objects out of lightning?

TOAA might pay them a visit as well. And Dr. Light's construct abilities aren't in place anymore. That was a result of his being absorbed into the Oan battery. He since had received a lobotomy and lost that degree of power.

Not really out of lightning...by charging the air particles. Lightning isn't really touchable, isn't it?

Well, in that scan, Captain America fell onto the lightning bridge as if it were a solid object, so apparently he can create solid objects out of lightning.

In panels 1 and 2 of this scan that lightning appears to be solid. Cap lands on it and then kneels down on it and rides along with Blitzkrieg.

Also, Iceman creates Ice constructs out of air particles (by stopping their motion), so it's the same concept.
