I don't agree. Cap, 10/10.
I feel as if I'm getting to truly know you for the first time.

Is there a charity I can donate my old issues too so you can start reading comics?

I read Brubaker's run and it was amazing.I haven't read anything that Remender's done lately outside Uncanny Avengers and Uncanny X-Force.
Brubaker basically made it very clear that in comparison to the other peak humans in the Marvel U such as Daredevil and Winter Soldier, Cap is definitively superhuman. Remender seems to be taking that philosophy and pushing Cap more into the realm of Luke Cage physicality than peers such as Batman. Guy recently carved out his own chest and guts to expel Zola's infection inside of his body.
With gadgets and everything else into play, Bats and Cap becomes a lot closer, but with none of that and just their stats and skills, I'm finding it more and more difficult seeing Batman win. Not saying Steve one shots Bruce or just spite stomps him, but the physical gap between them seems to be growing as time passes.

I agree that Cap's pure physical stats go above the other peak humans, though let's not forget that peak human is a stat that's relative to the character. Kingpin's peak human strength and durability is a lot higher than say Daredevil or Elektra's.
I disagree with the idea that Cap's can take more physical pain than Batman. He's stronger but I think Batman is faster and more skilled. Endurance is a wash since Batman moves with such efficiency that he doesn't really expend any energy, again Batman Inc. Cap also, does not tire 🙂
Finally, I think Bruce is much, much, much smarter than Captain America.
