Odin winced at thanos' cosmic blasts, and could not move him with a full-on blast from gungnir, and prevent thanos from grabbing it.
I have a hard time believing that any skyfather could do that against odin (known to be a high-end skyfather) IN ASGARD.
The more important evidnece is thanos' consistent showings against cosmics. No tricks or tech or magic, just pure force -- he actually fights cosmics. That is ridiculous amount of power, at least skyfather, imo.

Thanos can't fly, he'd get sucked into the sun, and have a wonderful life with Cythonna hangin' in the sun.

How bout yes he can. 1) by propelling with his blast 2) with true levitation. Thanos being thanos and ripped from darkseid hardly does it without the necessity.

Since Thanos can just teleport, it wouldn't really be impossible to get away from it.

How about slow levitation is not = to flying out of the suns gravitational field? He can't propel himself through space...
I know, what DC 1 million is... I own many of the books. It was obviously a jab for fun... You aren't going to educate me on Supes.
What Champ example are you talking about? The one where he is on his chair that travels between dimensions? That example is a tech example.

So that was the helpless in space scan everyone is shouting about. How bout' he never actually tried in the pic and is grieving for the loss of terraxia then suddenly the portal opens. I'm pretty sure you hadn't interpret it that way but without a doubt it sure looked like that. AFAIK the scan i provided was more recent and him without any tech nor suit.
And Levitation is flight. It just the matter of how he is propelled. The first one that i mention was him using his own powers to do that. Once again, Both him nor Darkseid ever resorts to levitation, doesn't mean they can't.

It's pretty clear in my scan.
The fact that he can levitate is cool actually, and nobody is disputing that he can't levitate, your scan is clear... but it doesn't equal
the kind of flight that would get him out of the gravitational pull of
the sun...and it's within a planets atmosphere. Since space has no true concept of up, down, left, right... wouldn't levitation be pretty useless?

It sure looked that way didn't it. However you got to realize his girlfriend just got killed. Even characters state differently from what they actually do some time or another when confronted with such conflict. Then in another appearance without that being a factor, they do exactly the opposite.
And suppose that he can't fly yet during the time, he is still able to teleport without tech just fine.
He has been in the same situation many times, one from even a blackhole which just ripped his costume apart. How'd you suppose he got out of that predicament.

And we know better to compare humans who obviously doesn't have powers to eternals whose full powerset at best is vague, way to go.
Thanos used tech when he fought tyrant, true. It's like using a car instead of walking. It makes travelling a lot easier, doesn't mean it couldn't be done without it. not to mention the fact that the match was physically a downhill but hardfought battle for him and one could figure out it was taxing physically and probably to some factors as well.
not to mention the fact his teleporter is located in his belt. Look at the IG conclusion, you'd see it is in fact there. He'd have to reach it in order to do so.

1. He just lost the infinity gauntlet, and his plans of universal destruction had been foiled by his own arrogance. I think I'd be a little weakened and distressed at that point. Relative to infinite power, ANYTHING feels like an eternity drifting through space.
2. He fights in space all the time without tech. Against drax, runner, surfer, and numerous others. Practically half of his battles are in a vacuum, and he moves around fine. ALL of his battles are against enemies who could toss him into space to beat him, if he were that immobile.
3. You're still confusing two things: 1. what he hasn't been shown to do. 2. what he's incapable of doing. I've never seen thanos swing a baseball bat, toss or rock, or blow up a building. It's clear that these things are possible for him.
When you can teleport at will with no tech, when you have energy blasts that level cosmics, when you can turn your enemies into stone, there is no need for flying. At a bare minimum, with cosmic energy that he has, it would be simple to simple shoot in one direction and be propelled in the other. Action/reaction. The fact that he doesn't do so does not show that he can't.

Why do people keep saying this? He teleports in virtually every storyline with no tech visible at all. Check the surfer scan on the page previously, for example. And no he does not use his chair against champion. Champion suddenly and unexpectedly smashes his way in, and thanos points a finger at him and he disappears.
Yes, he uses tech. No, that does not mean his powers are bound to it. This is not Doctor Doom, for heaven's sake. His tech is, if anything, a manifestation/reflection of his abilities -- not vice versa.
Analogy -- people often use cameras for security purposes, because it is tiresome and inconvenient to sit and watch in person. Does this mean that people who use security cameras are blind?
